What do you like best about the product?
I had NO idea how to build a website but as a new business owner, I needed something ASAP. We had a very small budget so we could not afford a professional to create something for us. Wix made everything so easy and I have gotten SO many compliments from various groups of people. It sure felt good to be able to create something I could be proud of and that helped us grow tremendously and give us credibility to our clients.

I have been told WordPress is better for SEO and other things so I am taking the advice from my mentor and will be switching within the next month or 2 when my new website is created by a professional that we can now afford 2 years later!

amazing all-in-one service for businesses just getting started that don't have time to worry too much about intricate web design - Wix is user-friendly and very very easy to use with all its templates along with all the other services it provides including SEO, hosting, and domain creation with email domains as well.

Wix is incredibly easy to use and navigate, providing you with templates for any of your website needs. Having used Wix to create a portfolio of my professional audio work, I found that importing and rearranging/resizing each component was really simple. I like that Wix allows you to be creative and design the website as you desire, without need to abide by the chosen template.

One issue that I encountered when using Wix was the uploading of large media assets onto my website. Wanting to display a short film that I worked on, I had to upload it in two parts as the file was too large - exceeding the file size limit.

It's such an easy tool to get everything set up in one shot. You can create your domain, set up your hosting and get right to building your website. Whether you choose a template or start from scratch, the whole thing is easy and simple to use. You can even optimize your site for mobile in a snap without any hiccups or searching google with how-to's.

It is a bit pricy compared to other hosting services, but that's probably because you're paying for the ease and flexibility that the web designer offers so if you're just starting out it's not a bad investment, but most likely something you'd want to move off of after a few years.

It can be as simple or complex as you'd like. I like the ability to go beyond the creation of "webspace" and into actual management of inventory, people, money, etc. The built in dynamic features are an asset - that needs refining, but an asset nonetheless.

Redundancy - always try to sell me more. Sometimes, we just want to learn and develop a process for "how to get there" - or "how to do this or that", and then, there's another thing that does that, too. The continuance of adding elements vs. Sections, or the different types of lists, etc. And lastly, even when I upgrade it's trying to sell me another premium product...at some point the nickel and diming of your customer has to stop.

Wix, like all softwares and programs does have some downsides. In the past 12 months Wix changed the way the pages are created in the editor and added sections rather than the previous way of one running page. It has been a learning curve as I was used to the previous way of doing things.

It has a lot of flexibility for design solutions; there are little constraints. At the same time, there are enough built in features which restrict design such that the platform is easy to use. Pretty much the only thing I've come across is twofold: first, info popups are not easy to design, and second, it's not possible currently to float certain sections over other sections. But these are not major problems at all.

WiX has a large variety of integrations available in the app store, offers a variety of options to create any website, and ranks well in search. It's an excellent service and I would recommend if you're trying to build a blog, a community space, a course or content library, or a product based shop. WiX is intuitive and easy to use, making web building accessible. The settings and domain registrations are easy to change and alter as needed.

The editor is good but almost outdated. It could use an update to make the editor feel more fluid. With all of the available tools within WiX, I would also like to see ai integrated for blog images, banners, and other graphic generation. I've used Editor X, and it feels very new and blocky, so that takes away some of the appeals of using WiX.

WiX helps me create a space for my business to exist freely. WiX allows me to register my domain, create the aesthetic and theme of the site, build the functional navigation, and design the individual pages. It does it all. I don't have to go to various tools. Initially, building my site without having to code was the most appealing element. Now, I wish I'd hired a web developer instead.

Customer service is now very difficult to reach. Elements on the page disappear without making changes to the site. Functionality drops off periodically. To include reviews on the page, you need to use a third-party paid app. Site analytics are minimal and mostly vague and unhelpful. Site design, while simplified for non-coding experts, are limited. Everything you need to run a business is an add-on, even with the most expensive plan. I purchased unlimited video uploading ability and at random, the site will prompt me to "upgrade my plan" if I want to see my previously uploaded videos remain on the site. The site consistently loses functionality for my clients without making any changes to a previously running site.

There were few things I liked about Wix. The only positive that comes to mind is that Wix is easy to launch because of their available templates and guided builder. I've had a great experience with Wix's E-Commerce solution, allowing you to set up and configure your new E-Commerce store without having to write a single line of code. A smoother setup of payment gateways and a comprehensive guide if something's not evident in the whole process solves most of the problem.

I wouldn't say I like the pre-designed set of layouts that Wix provides while setting up the website. Even if good designs are available, they're costly along with the whole theme. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that, when you want to change the URL of a page, that it automatically does the redirect for you. I also love how you can create a lovely 404 error page to redirect visitors, as well as how easy it is to control the public menu/site drop down.

What do you like best about the product?
The price is just right for most small businesses and start-ups. However it can also service large brands. The dashboard is intuitive and user-friendly. I like that all the tools, CRM email design, inbox, and analytics are in one spot.

What do you dislike about the product?
As you need more functionality, you can pay for more automatons and the additional functions you need. Some people might now like this because it does start to add up. I do like having the ability to only pay for what I use, but sometimes I thought I had already paid for the functionality, but then I have to pay more.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves CRM, email design, forms, website creation, domain management, chat function, automated emails and responses, analytics, hook ups for Google ads, search console, and Universal Analytcis.

All of the tools available make it so easy to make a website. It is extremely user friendly

Like in everything, there were some bugs related to some menus reverting back that we didn't want

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy for beginners o create a website in Wix, that too without no coding knowledge. The platform offers stunning templates which suit almost any business type.

What do you dislike about the product?
The strangest thing is that you cannot embed twitch on to Wix site. Whatever you try, adding the URL directly or using an embed code, Wix sites won't allow twitch streams.

It helps startups create stunning websites without hiring a professional developer. Also, if your website needs to be updated regularly, you can do it yourself without any problem.
