What do you like best about the product?
Twitter is easy to use. It does not require you to write a lengthy post. Twitter is good for finding out the latest news and events as they happen. I experienced this when during the escalation of a protest in my country some social media platforms were temporarily not working. You can easily find posts with the help of hashtags. Splitting the homepage into the ''For You page'' and the "Following page'' has made it easier to navigate Twitter and get some interesting suggestions for profiles to follow.

What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to distinguish promoted and the actual accounts you are following. The promoted tweets have such a tiny promoted word left under the tweet. Sometimes Twitter only shows you things that you already agree with, so you don't get to see other perspectives.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twitter allows me to share my social media posts and also follow others who's posts interest me. Twitter has been easy to work with. To this day I have not had to contact customer services for assistance.

Well, I can follow people of my type. For example, as a website developer for me, it is important to know about the best website layout. I found a free course by Dan petty on Twitter. Also posting regularly and following Twitter trends and keywords helps me to rank my post and meet new people.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Twitter is that when I just need to find something to make me laugh, it'll be right there. There are a handful of people on Twitter who are consistently funny and I need that on some days. But then while I'm scrolling, I'll see someone share an article about the election or whatever and I read that, too.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside, at least right now, is the number of bot or fake accounts. Every single day I have at least ten fake accounts add me. The amount of time I need to spend vetting people who follow me is continuing to rise.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that the take away the platform from genuinely awful or dangerous people. Getting the former president off the platform was a HUGE step forward. I'm not saying that nobody lies on Twitter, but when you are an elected official, you have to live up to a higher standard. And if you are someone with a huge platform, I want Twitter to hold you accountable.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Twitter is bringing on a lot more features to its platform to beta test. I think that is what it lacked before. I love the twitter communities (now I can share more of my content and reach more people), the beta version of the newsletter for creators, the monetization tools, twitter circle and much more. I hope twitter continues to experiement with adding new features and permanenttly adds them so the platform can become more useful to users. I also love Twee Deck. Please don't get rid of that.

I don't like the lack of features for creators. Plus, the anayltics could be better. I think creating more functions for creators would be best. This also includes adding more features and functionalities to Tweet Deck too. I feel like I can't monitor a whole lot with the columns. For example, being able to monitor communities using the platform would be nice.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be honest, I think Twitter is creating more problems than it's solving. It's not as a robust as the other platforms in terms of audience usage or functionality. Plus, just some of the discrimination and lack of user oversight the platform has been known for doing isn't the best. But that's all I'll say. However, it's helped me promote my company and connect with others, and I am grateful for that. Plus, it's definitely the best social media platform for public relations.

The biggest benefit of Twitter is being able to follow interesting people to stay in touch with current topics of interest. I have connected with colleagues I've met in person at conferences and been able to stay in touch with them over the years.

i love that it's easy to find topics of interest with hashtags, that the content is short and brief and it's easy to block out the noise from accounts that aren't of interest.

the ads, the number of ads between posts is increasing, also not a big fan how it suggests other accounts to follow or topics to follow. It all gets in the way and distracts from the content i am interested in.

The downside is that everybody's speech has the same impact. A confirmed scientist's speech has the same recognition on the platform as an anti-vaxxer or climate skeptic. As a consequence, many subjects are misrepresented and drowned in misinformation, which spreads nocive opinions disguised as facts more easily.

I have been using Twitter for the past 9 with almost 55,000 tweets. I use it to promote my blog posts and other things that I find on the internet. I love the profile banner section, which can be used to attract more followers or to put images that tell more about you or your tweets.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been a Twitter user for over 12 years. I first discovered it when I was still in high school and, it hadn't had much traction back then. Now I believe it's one of the best social media and news outlets we have out there. It's a free for all message board where all people worldwide can view their thoughts or opinions. What I like most is the news is fact-checked, so you know the stories you're being shown are true (if they're sited) , and that it's a super simplified social media chat board. You're limited to the number of characters per post, which makes it easier on the attention span.

What do you dislike about the product?
Why no edit button!? This feature has been heavily requested by 75% of the users on the platform. Even if there's a small ticker on the tweet that shows it has been edited, just give the people what they want and let them correct their typos without having to repost and lose all the traction they gain! Also, I don't particularly appreciate that they changed the profile photo settings. You used to be able to upload a GIF or Video as your main photo but now it can only be a still circular image.

Ads are becoming a bit more ubiquitous in my feed which can be a bit annoying. The ads and sponsored posts disrupt my content and dillute the experience of trying to quickly gather information while scrolling through my feed.

For anyone joining Twitter, I would suggest that they carefully select who they follow when starting their account. I followed a number of people that popped up under that "Suggested" accounts to follow, but it resulted in my Twitter feed being filled with content that I was not all that interested in. After unfollowing some of these accounts and following new ones, I was able to refine my feed to get more relevant content.

Ease of following and near real time access to information is a major plus. Can monitor multiple sources using my Twitter feed. This microblogging site is a great source of any kind of information. Whether it's news about any political issue, updates from the who's who around the world, or just some opinion from people around you (famous or otherwise), one can find everything on Twitter. I personally use it the most to follow the news. The 'trending' feature of the app helps me stay up-to-date with what's the most buzzing topic and why it's such a big deal. I also get to put forth my opinions and get them seen by people who matter.
