Audience on Instagram is huge but everyone cant't be your customer. Moreover, you may miss the chance to reach your target customers due to fast scrolling habit of the audience present on instagram. So, your ads or your page should be captive enough to make people see what your product is.But instagram Business Somewhere lack in providing the real customers it can be the problem of SEO. some improvement is also required in ease to find who you are by the people as when you move to search bar similar pages all with almost same approach and templets waste the time of customers and they may drop the idea to go any further.

I have some points to make about the Personal details and information of a User Account which seems to have limited information. Instagram for business needs more space or fields to have more personal information about a User. Another thing about making posts on Instagram, particularly there should be the possibility to paste image links, rather than only uploading images. Create a means where we can also paste image links from other sites into Instagram for business.

Recent updates and challenges with cookies-based targeting means that it's that much harder to target effectively via Facebook/IG Ads Manager. I've also experienced some issues in terms of support offered, often being told by those on FB/Meta Ad Services what they think I want to hear rather than the truth of the matter. Support tends to be slow to respond, are slow to find solutions, and often times fails to explain either issues or systematic platform approaches in a clear, concise and accurate way.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you're using IG properly for respective business goals, but also assess whether other platform solutions may be better either from a cost-efficiency aspect or from a target consumer aspect.

Instagram for Business is one of the best ways to reach a new audience, establish a voice for your brand online, and generate new content. Instagram has switched to a very ad-heavy focus, so if your business isn't created ads and paying for ads to be out there sometimes it's hard to get your content to reach the right audience at the right time. What do you like best about the product?
I want to start this review by saying that Meta has done terrific work in the past couple of years to make Instagram for Business much better. For those who have used Instagram for their business, brand, or as an agency, you know how bad it used to be. Now Facebook/IG/Meta has still got a long way to go, but much of the growing pains have receded: you can create ads in FB or IG, there's a central messaging system (a la Messenger), and recently they have made inroads into making it easier to sign in to multiple accounts.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are still a lot of bugs that need to be worked out. When connecting a Facebook Page and an Instagram Page, I've noticed about a 10% failure rate. At some point, something breaks between the connection, and it is challenging to remedy. (Mostly, it's a "Personal Page" vs. "Business Page" problem, even if both accounts are "Business" accounts.) Instagram still doesn't have a good "share" ability, requiring a 3rd party app to add someone else's post to your account. I understand this is to enforce original content, but it would be helpful for Instagram to relent and implement a sharing function for posts. Analytics have actually become better than Facebook Page Insights, allowing you to change the data window to any desired window. (Facebook still forces a 1, 7, or 28 day window on the Overview.)

You'll need to use Instagram for your Brand or Business. My recommendation would be to either hire an agency to handle your IG account or take a short class on using the platform. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials, Udemy/Masterclass classes, or even the Instagram for Business documentation and Support section. Knowing some of the tools and how to use them to your advantage will save time and frustration. While it is relatively user-friendly, you can very quickly get confused with some of the functions or processes, and it helps to have a roadmap available.

In marketing—even if you aren't basing success off of revenue—you need to be where the people are. Some brands can make a killing via Instagram (Make-up, fashion, leisure goods, etc.). But every brand should be on Instagram to interact with customers, showcase the company, and protect brand assets. Instagram for Business makes it easier to manage a company's Instagram account from both the App and Facebook. Plus, with built-in Insights (analytics), Activity Log, eCommerce abilities, and advertising platform, Instagram for Business is undoubtedly growing up for brand managers.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I get to edit by industry title. My brand is super chill and quirky, so I like to add random things to the bio, which adds to the business aesthetic. I also appreciate how similar it is to Insta personal, in terms of operating it. If it was very different, from regular Insta, the teething period would've been much longer.

What do you dislike about the product?
First, I wasn't able to use the music I would've liked to. I'm guessing this is for copyright purposes. I'm not fully sure; it would've been nice if Insta put out a message of some sort saying "this is why you can use all music on Insta personal but only some music on Insta business...". Giving your customer clarity is super important. Since I came away from the experience not understanding the situation, I am less likely to come back to Insta Business. A short video / reel explaining all the particularities of Insta business would help a lot! Since people's attention spans are now so limited, I doubt anyone would sit to read instructions. I know I don't. So a short video should do the trick in an effective way! Second, Insta business doesn't seem to be compatible with my phone. I have a Redmi Note and these are the problems I commonly encounter: - App hangs: Sometimes the app stops working to the point where I cannot press the back button to even exit the app. I have to go and look at all the open tabs and then close the Insta tab and open it again before I am able to use it. - Stories are bad quality: Unless I take the picture on the app itself, Insta really dumbs down the quality of any picture in my camera roll before uploading. - App is slow: App is really slow.

I am trying to sell jewelry. So far, I haven't seen the benefits of a business account over a personal account. One time, I got a free promotion from Insta for uploading a reel that got 3k + views. That increased my engagement in terms of accounts reached; however, I didn't see these benefits translate into additional sales. I ended up switching back to a personal account because I thought the benefits of using popular music outweighed the cons of not having a business account. I am currently trying to use it to get my cats adopted. This is not a business so spending money on ads wouldn't make sense for me. But let's see!

Instagram has rolled up some great new features and has updated some existing ones, all to benefit businesses and content creators. I am a freelance photographer and I also handle my company's social media accounts. And I have come to realize that Instagram is a great tool in both cases. Whether it's reels, guides, IGTVs, or simple feed posts, every feature of the app is extremely helpful in growing a business. Their latest update on the 'insights' feature is a great tool for analysis - they now allow you to customize the dates according to your needs up to 30 days instead of just 7. Since they plan to extend the period even more, a third-party software won't be needed to track Instagram growth. With so many new features in place, Instagram has given so much space to be creative, play around, and have fun while also taking your business to a whole new level!

Lately, it has gotten relatively difficult to understand Instagram's algorithm. Some posts do great and some (similar) posts have no reach at all. The same is with reels. In such a case, it gets a little hard to set goals given that it takes a lot of time to understand what kind will have higher engagement.

There are a lot of things I like about Instagram for Business and here are they: 1) Insights to the accounts on a daily basis, how much people followed, how much people liked and commented, how many people the post reached, etc. 2) Demographic Promotion: It lets me select the type of reach I want my post to go with and accordingly filter the audience for my promotion. 3) Saved Replies: I can save multiple Reply Templates for quick actions on future conversations whenever required. 4) Tips Section: It gives me hints on how I need to work to get more engagements, traffic, and business through my account. 5) Action Buttons: it lets me set quick action buttons like WhatsApp Connect, Call, Email, DM, and let our customers know that they can reach me instantly whenever they want at ease.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about Instagram Business leaving these things: 1) I cannot restrict people to send me to the type of DMs like anyone can send me Insta Reels to DMs which is not useful to me for anything. 2) If I change my privacy of Instagram Business Account to Private then I need to accept each and each follows request manually. No option to set the auto-accept follow request event after setting the business account to private. It is fruitful in the case of a personal Instagram account but in the business account. 3) Facebook Page Mandate Promotion Restriction: If I have to promote a post then it is mandatory to have a Facebook page connected and if it is not connected then I cannot run a promotion on Instagram business.

What do you like best about the product?
Instagram works great for exposure and interaction with potential buyer/clients or enthusiasts. If set up the right way it can be a well oiled machine. It also helps gain a perspective on the inside and behind the scenes if you allow followers into your day to day operations. I love that it allows you to showcase yourself. It can be harsh sometimes, but as long is you proceed with a grain of salt and a sense of humor you should be fine. So many thing to list so I will just do a bullet point: - being able to toggle between biz and personal by double tapping - the insights are always helpful to see the traffic to your page - being able to keep your follow list up to date by removing followers that haven't engaged - should you have a items to sell , there are so many avenues you can use. Either by post, live sell, stories and even connecting your shopify store. - the new updates on button, which allows you to shop, add stories etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
There are aspects that could be improved on but those things that Instagram cant complete they makeup for with a 3rd party app. Not being able to search your insights by specific dates. I wish I was able to see more deeply into my insights but am aware that I can use a 3rd party application to see exactly where my traffic is coming from. I also wish there was an easier way to get to the posts I have liked in the past. The upside to that is that you can create boards to store all those saved posts for future reference.

Look into following users who give helpful, additional help to using the platform. When searching utilize hashtags on the subject. Reels are also great for those who make things and want show a behind the scenes tip. Get your hashtag game in order. This is the way people will find you and interact with your content. Also, when you like a photo be sure to comment as well. This will also allow the opportunity to open communication and will most likely have those same followers comment on your photos.

Sharing content on Instagram has always been incredibly easy and a great way to connect with people all over the world. I love how instant and easily digestible Instagram is. PLUS the features on the stories and reels are a ton of fun and extremely interactive!

I am not a fan of how often Instagram goes through a facelift and seems to constantly be moving features. I am extremely adaptable BUT changing things every 3 months is a bit excessive. I also dislike that Business accounts can not use music in their stories.

Stay up to date on algorithm changes and "hacks" to achieve maximum exposure. Hashtags and location tags are your friend. And don't take your content to seriously....its social media after all. It has a short shelf life in terms of relevance. Also, consider finding many photo editing and video editing apps to make your content truly stand out!

As a relatively new business, exposure and reach is a huge hurdle to overcome. Instagram for Business is by far our BEST marketing tool we use in terms of getting seen by thousands of people in a short period of time. Now these people may not always generate income directly, but they are able to share our content easily and expose to even more people....which always results in a new client eventually.
