What do you like best about the product?
A key piece we liked is the adaptability of the platform to meet our commission plan needs. Despite our effort to standardize commissions plans there are always exceptions and they frequently change. We were able to align the software to our needs instead of the other way around. Coming from a manual process, this is a huge step forward in efficiency and capability for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is a very short list. Given I have to pick something I would say that some parts of the application look a little antiquated but when it comes to a tool where the engine is only touched by a handful of admins I'll take function over form any day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
First and foremost it solved the issue of running commission calculations in Excel. Excel is great and worked well for many years but we simply outgrew it. We needed a platform that would not only allow us to manage plans more easily but also open up access to our own data. We can not only report on all existing data but will be able to forecast the impact of plan changes as well. Far more insight, accessibility, and accuracy of our own data.

What do you like best about the product?
Although I really can't speak highly enough of the system itself, I think the most enjoyable part of this implementation project was working with the Iconixx team. The tool easily saves us several hours of manual calculation per week, but the process of working with the team to create a tool that eliminates user error and best fits our needs was not only easy, but enjoyable as well!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I better understood the process before beginning the project - the discovery phase was straightforward, but it can be easy to lose focus while the product is being built on the back end if you don't remain actively involved in the project. Everything came together perfectly during the testing phase and I couldn't be happier with the overall process and end result, but I feel like the hiccups, although extremely minor, could have been avoided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Iconixx has allowed us to move away from using Excel to calculate and pay out hundreds of thousands of dollars in weekly commissions. Our compensation plans change so frequently that it became almost impossible to manage everything within a macro-enabled spreadsheet, never mind the fact that we had to validate so much data to ensure correct payment. With Iconixx, I can now rest easy knowing that the calculations aren't being manually generated. The detailed compensation statements for each of our payees (something we never had before) are an added bonus!

What do you like best about the product?
Most current Incentve Solutions have provided for enterprise solution for Large Markets but struggled to provide business functionality within the required ROI for Small to Mid market clients. Iconixx Software is a great Saas Incentive Compensation solution that bridges that gap. It not only provides robust offering in functionality but also a good ROI especially to the Small to Mid Market clients. It's easy to use interface, automation capabilities and quick turnaround on implementation from inception to deployment, make it a good fit for clients that want to implement a cost effective sales incentive solution. The automation capability, analytics and reporting along with workflow are all targeted to enable a compensation administrator in his/ her day-to-day business functions. Unlike other vendors in the same space, it provides for a quick turnaround from engagement to deployment. The well-designed solution is a strong reflection of the team behind the solution. Both at the consultant and leadership level, the product reflects the experience of the Iconixx team in providing 1) a business incentive solution that aligns sales with expected business objectives, 2) a technology solution that is easy to use and quick to implement for business users 3) analytic and workflow to support day-to-day business functions related to compensation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am still learning about the product, offered functionality and business needs it targets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand the required sales strategy and plan your compensation plans to drive those behaviors. Once you have identified your plan strategy, really evaluate cost and implementation impacts of on-premise or Saas solution. If your preference is managed services or third party hosted solution, Iconixx Software should be one of the strong contenders to evaluate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can see the benefit of cost reduction in deploying Iconixx Software as a solution for a client that has a high overhead in administrative costs, longer periods of turnaround from receipt of data to payroll close and payment errors due to manual processing. In addition, the quick transition from one plan year to another or fast execution of plan changes could make it really appealing as the solution of choice.

What do you like best about the product?
The product is very flexible and allows for multiple calculation types. It integrated well with Salesforce as well as being able to import data. Changes in plan since original implementation have been easy to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish we had more ability to create custom reports. The Adhoc reports are awkward and not appropriate for distribution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using a manual process, mostly Excel drive to do quarterly calculations. This was very time consuming. With Iconixx, I am easily saving 40 hours a month. The users like the ability to find their historical comp reports, as well as the metrics in the dashboard.

What do you like best about the product?
Their service is very personalized and its clear that every attempt is made to provide the solutions we need. There is a cost of course but there is a clear process for both enhancements and maintenance requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have been slow to get the upgrade that we have heard about for a few years and that we are told will facilitate easier management of our compensation solution. We need to be able to stay on the latest release without a lot of overhead.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its important there is a good fit between your needs and scale and Iconixx. Iconixx in my opinion is not for very large companies so there is a sweet spot in terms of size and complexity that fits well with Iconixx.

We are solving territory management and compensation reporting against sales goals.
