It is a very easy application for new users to adopt, its handling is very intuitive and for more advanced users it allows a broader level of customization and connection with other applications that increases their efficiency.

The mobile app does not have a voice typing option that allows you to create notes without using the keyboard. Its filtering options are not as efficient and only allow very basic filters, since they do not allow, for example, to filter all the tasks without date or without labels and there are tasks that can be lost

Its collaborative work with other widely used applications. I can already connect it with my mail or Zapier and I see that they are adding more connections every time. Hopefully soon they add an integration with Notion.

What do you like best about the product?
In all honesty, the best piece of Todoist is the universal keyboard shortcut. I love that nomatter what program I am in or who I am talking to, I can quickly add a task with natural language input, have it show on my calendar, and be on the date that I need in a flash. In my workplace, distractions come often, so being able to do this quickly makes sure I don't miss anything. The two-way calendar sync is also really a great feature that pairs well with this.

What do you dislike about the product?
I use the free version and don't pay for the subscription, so I can't complain too much about the features. I wish the subtasks were structured a little better, but overall the app seems to work well for my needs with the free version.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Todoist is solving my ability to stay organized. I have realized that if I don't write things down, I forget them and it helps keep me on task and remember what I need to do in a timely manner, while also showing me in multiple places (the app, my phone, my calendar).

What do you like best about the product?
Todoist has many if not the most upsides from all of the todo list apps that I have tried, it not only helps me organize my work but life all around me. You can use Todoist on any app just for starters and many other features.

A few downsides that I and some people that were also using the software around me encountered were some technical issues when creating new tasks, and sometimes people found it challenging to navigate through the app.

What do you like best about the product?
Here's what I liked the most about Todoist: 1. NLP: I have tried hundreds of to-do list apps, and Todoist has the best Natural Language Processing abilities. It can even understand complex commands, like recurring events. 2. Interface: I love the UI and UX of Todoist. It's minimalist and does its job well without cluttering the app with countless unwanted features. Plus, it's bug-free. I never found any single instance when the app never worked. 3. Flexibility: You can customize Todoist as much as you like. In my early days of using Todoist, I followed the "Eat That Frog" methodology but later switched to the classical GTD. Plus, templates make the switch a lot more hassle-free and straightforward. 4. Motivation: You earn Karma points to motivate you to work more towards your goals. Although they are useless, they are still worth a try. 5. Integrations: Todoist is well integrated with most essential apps, like Outlook, your browser, Calendar and so on. These features make adding tasks a breeze. 6. AI features: Although it's still in its infancy, Todoist comes with AI features that suggest how you can proceed with the task. Not a part that I use personally, but it works decently.

What do you dislike about the product?
Here's what I don't like about Todoist: 1. Flexibility: Yes, it's a con for some users like me. Having too many options can indeed be overwhelming. Plus, the learning curve gets high. 2. Paywall: Todoist has hidden even the basic features like notifications behind a paywall. There's no option for a trial as well. 3. Pricing: Todoist's pricing is on the steeper side, as compared to the competition. Most features stated, like Karma points and AI, are useless for an average user. It's like taking a or nothing plan. 4. Geared towards teams: The personal plan is geared more towards the group. There are options for comments, selecting members on the Kanban board, etc. Most of them can be turned off, but why are these turned on in the first place, considering that I have opted for a personal plan? 5. Lack of essential features: There's no built-in calendar, no habits, no Pomodoro, etc. At least a built-in calendar is crucial in a to-do list app.

What do you like best about the product?
It would likely take me all day to explain everything I like. The is one of the most critical tools in my day to day, both professionally and personally. Its quick entry for offloading thoughts is amazing and the NLP processing of dates/times makes this even more efficient. Its such a simple setup at heart, which leaves little room for getting in my way, but also is so powerful that I can make it do anything I need. I have tried other tools in the past and none hold a candle to Todoist. I am such a fan of the values of the company that it makes it easy to be a part of this community.

What do you dislike about the product?
Only silly things here. For example, when in a filter mode, you are restricted from customizing some of the views. This really is a non-issue, but would be nice. Nothing substantial here for me at all.

We have so many thoughts that come at us at any given time. When it comes to things that need to get done, Todoist is right there to handle. With multiple ways to input, I am confident that I will never forget to do anything. As soon as I have something come to mind, in to Todoist it goes. I trust it to resurface these when the time comes, and finding tasks is super easy.

Todoist needs to support more integrations. The premium version of Todoist is a little expensive. Creating subtasks for tasks is not simple. More documentation for existing and new users can be beneficial. More themes for the free version would be helpful.

Todoist intellisense is superb, and we can quickly add dates times and priorities to tasks without having to use the mouse. It is highly accessible. It has android and ios support as well and is continuously coming up with new updates and features

It has a very limited free tier. You can only add 5 projects in the free version. It also doesn't allow reminders and notifications for the free version. I believe it could be made a lil more generous for the free tier

The UI of Todoist is simple yet fully loaded with all the required options. The automatic date/day detection from the Add Task panel improves the experience. It also synchronizes very well with other calendars like Google Calendar.

There is a bug in the app, both windows app and the android app, because of which it does not synchronize easily. It happens because the app uses "http" requests instead of "https" and in many places like my workplace network, all "http" requests are blocked.

What do you like best about the product?
Todoist is just great! It lets you create subtasks inside of tasks and then you can also share the tasks with other people so they can take care of them. The reminders and notifications are great too. If I am running late on any due dates, Todoist reminds me about it and I can then prioritize it to get it done. It also lets me set priorities for my tasks and so I know which tasks to complete first. It also has a lot of themes and customizing the UI according to your liking helps. It also connects with Google Calendars which is a plus!

I really don't have anything to dislike about Todoist. It is probably the best todo list app on the market!

The biggest problem it solves is procrastination and helps get work done. This increases productivity. Ever since we started using Todoist, our team has been able to achieve all the goals we set for our Sprints. It lets you prioritize your work so you know what to complete first. What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Todoist is the near real-time sync across devices since I often need to switch between devices very fast and get mad if what I typed on my computer does not reflect on my phone. It's straightforward to create projects, labels, and tasks across the board and list views, allowing me to structure my professional tasks and chores under various sections/headings separately, much more easily compared to other apps. The keyboard shortcuts to create tasks and assign them to projects are very simple to remember. The natural language time-date sensing is top class and saves a lot of irritation to manually set time for each task. Two way sync with Google Calendar and other apps like JIRA is also very handy

What do you dislike about the product?
There's a few features I'd rather like to see in Todoist. One of them is reminders - which are available only in the pro version, but are pretty much a necessity. It'd be great if a limited number of reminders could be added to the free version as well. Todoist also lacks a calendar view, making it impossible to drag and drop tasks to reschedule them. To reschedule, you have to edit each task's time, which is very cumbersome

What do you like best about the product?
It was a super simple integration using Zapier. You can create the integration using the free package and you're able to maintain your tasks on your Todoist with ease!

What do you dislike about the product?
That you do have to connect with Zapier. The integration only allows 100 task transfers for a free version and then after it is 19.99/m to keep getting tasks through the integration.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to keep contact with my team mates with notes in tasks as well as keep company teams notified by using the clickup integration. We've been able to cut down on multiple applications by using these two.

What do you like best about the product?
Todoist is a fantastic tool that helps you keep track of your to-do list. To-do lists can be broken down into different projects, and then broken down even further by creating individual tasks within each project. There are also time tools that allow you to organize tasks with specific due dates, and you can check off things that are due to be completed today and the next day. Todoist can also be customized by changing its themes and settings.

It would be easier to manage my schedule if I could see it in the form of a calendar. It's difficult when different things are on the list, and they aren't linear.

What do you like best about the product?
The quick add method and the natural language input beats any clicking and tapping that other task management tools have. For example, you can say "add a task every 23rd of the month or every 2nd Monday" and todoist will handle this like a champ.

The subtasks can be improved and also I don't like that they don't support deadlines as "things" does. Also, you cannot do boards for filters and labels. Would love to have the ability to have more customization on the swiping. For example, if I swipe half the way it is completed, but if I go more than half it would delete the task.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can sync different tasks and reminders on desktop and mobile and my Google Calendar. I use it mainly to remind me of recurring payments for subscriptions and other bills. It is my assistant, so I never forget any subscriptions and get nasty surprises and failed charges. I stay on track with ease. I consult it every day and have it as a Chrome extension. And it's free for the use I make of it. I have lists for other things, but my primary usage is tracking recurring bills.

I don't see what I can dislike about it. It has everything I need for what I use it. I didn't know I needed this before I discovered it through Thomas Frank from College Info Geek, who recommended it. I'm glad I did because I can't imagine myself without now!

I'm simplifying my budget management. I'm in control of billing deadlines, and I don't have the anguish of not knowing if I forget something important. It makes my life easier with the different subscriptions I have with my art online business and other bills.

Todoist has the most basic features for task management. Todoist can be used on multiple platforms. It is available as a web or mobile application. Users will also love that it synchronizes data and allows us to modify it easily. The interface is very intuitive, and you will quickly see the most important options for managing task lists. Todoist allows you to assign priorities to tasks, and also allows you to add notes to each task and determine the time needed to complete it.

What Todoist lacks is the ability to easily and quickly share info about tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked how I was able to organize different tasks and color code the groups of items. I love making lists, and Todoist made it look clean and sleek. I used Todoist for both work and personal tasks.

I dislike how Todoist does not cater to teams or features a "team view." My manager wanted me to create a holistic view of our boards, so I created different groups to help organize, but my formatting was not reflected in her account. The notifications were also a little spotty; sometimes, we weren't notified of deadlines. There's also a learning curve with Todoist; I needed to watch many YouTube videos to learn how to organize my account. It took a while to get the hang of.

I would recommend Todoist for personal use, not for teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Todoist for a long time but when I changed jobs midway through 2021, I thought I might not need to use it anymore. I tried Microsoft ToDo for a while, but it was just missing so much. I missed the simplicity of Todoist. I missed having it everywhere, on any platform (my phone (apple or android), my computers (apple or windows or linux). I missed natural language recognition. I missed location-based reminders. I didn't realize how much I relied on Todoist for everything in my work AND personal life until I wasn't using it anymore. My little experiment lasted about 30 days. Never again.

What do you dislike about the product?
Really, I don't dislike anything! I know that sounds ridiculous, but at least for me it's true. I've used Todoist for years and I've watched it evolve. The developers are responsive to their users. When they recognize that things are missing or disliked, they fix it. It's rare but appreciated.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have Multiple Sclerosis, and it affects my thinking significantly. Specifically, I struggle with memory and "brain fog." Without Todoist, I don't know what I would do. It keeps me organized. It reminds me when things are due. I can store needed docs in a note if I need to for an event. It has become my little extra brain. As long as I remember to use it (that's what reminders as for), it's a lifesaver for me!

The thing that drew me to Todoist first was its natural language dates. After starting to use it, though, I found it just so easy to break big projects down into manageable tasks and then get those tasks done day after day.

It is unfortunate that many of the features I would consider essential are reserved for paid plans. However, the paid plans are very reasonable. Additionally, I would like to see options for time tracking and due dates vs "want to have done by" dates added in the future.

It is very flexible. You can prioritize tasks, break larger tasks into smaller tasks and schedule each small task. You can set up your own categories. There is a mobile app for keeping track on the go. Has all kinds of tools. And sends daily reminders to your email, with lots of encouragement. There are even productivity blogs!

You really have to keep at and be proactive. If you are not looking at your list daily and being actively involved, it can seem like just another to do list. That is not Todoist's fault. But you really have to be committed to using it.

Before using Todoist, I forgot important due dates, I forgot to write down tasks that needed to be done in the future, and I was doing the wrong things first. Todoist taught me how to organize my tasks so that I tackled the hard jobs first, got them done on time, and kept me productive. Todoist also allows you to divide work tasks from personal tasks so you don't forget any but so you organize your day. It's easy to move tasks around and re-prioritize as new projects get thrown at you or if things become more complex.

You may set up alerts and receive notifications for a selection of pending and essential activities. It is also relatively user-friendly, allowing me to do most of the duties with minimal effort. The user interface is also excellent. As a program, it is extremely good and visually appealing, and it allows you to make any changes to your duties. What do you like best about the product?
It's an extremely easy to use app, so it doesn't take as much time to create lists and tasks as it does with some of the other more complicated to do list apps. We used it to help us manage and share tasks at work when we were a small team and it was super effective. We would receive notifications when we were assigned something and could comment back and forth on that particular task, making it an effective way of communicating as well.

I wish that it was easier to customize email reminders for lists and tasks. Also, it wasn't the most effective tool once our team grew because we could create task hierarchies.

Todoist is very easy to use. Adding tasks, managing projects, and even sharing tasks with your team. Despite its apparent simplicity, it is also very powerful. You don't need a lot of bells and whistles to have a great to-do list manager. I've been using Todoist for years and will continue to do so.

I wish there was a gantt-chart like ability to order tasks sequentially and have dynamic due dates for 'subsequent' tasks.

Easy to Use - Todoist is not overwhelming when you first start. Just start making your list and the basic layout allows for much more customization once you have updated it fully. Outlook Integration - This is a dealbreaker for me and Todoist does a good job. Price - Can't beat the price, we pay less than $5 a user per month Filters -The ability to filter my daily view is the magic behind this program.

Wish it was easier to see imported files. If someone wants to use digital assets they may be discouraged with the way photos appear. Monday and Trello do a great job with this but if that isn't a big deal then you will be fine.

Don't let the basic interface fool you, it is a powerful product. Give the free trial a try and you will see for yourself what a good job it does.

I started using Todoist (free version) for the first time in my Master Data Analyst role and during implementation. I used not just to track some items related to my project but use it for my day to day tasks also. It keeps me organized and I like that I can see what I have accomplished and what I have as outstanding whether from myself or other team members in a simple fashion. I love that I can insert comments etc for each tasks like when I followed up with a team member, decisions on data points etc. Love the reminder feature also!

The one downside is the inability to send reminders to people who have outstanding tasks on my list.

The ability to input tasks with natural language (for example, typing 'tom' and having the task set to appear in your list tomorrow) is so quick and helpful. Options to tag tasks with priority, list them under projects and sections, or to add them quickly to Inbox and triage later makes working within todoist a simple workflow that is tailored to your own role/projects. The gamification of completing tasks for Karma is fun.

The free version doesn't include reminders, meaning it is easy to miss tasks that have specific time-related deadlines if you don't want to upgrade to Pro. However there is very little else that I can complain about with this system.

I love the Pro feature that allows me to export my projects as a calendar feed. I'm able to see all of my tasks in a list or board view in Todoist. In Google Workspace, I can also see them in my project calendar feed - color-coded to perfection :)
