What do you like best about the product?
Allows us to have a rewards program, email and text platform all in one and simply syncs with our Lightspeed POS. Being able to do all in one is the reason we chose them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email template builder has some kinks that should be worked out to make the formatting and look better. Also, they are currently moving to a new version and you lose some abilities in the new one that you had in the old version.

They are providing me the ability to have a rewards program, email and text platform all in one simple solution. The integration for rewards makes it easy to redeem.

What do you like best about the product?
Kangaroo rewards will help us maintain a strong connection with our customers through consistent communication, loyalty rewards and analytics. We just kicked off the rewards program my customers are already excited. We selected Kangaroo because it integrates with Lightspeed(Pos) and Shopify. Our previous systems were separate for in-store and online. With Kangaroo, we can ensure the customers have one system to capture everything. Kangaroo offers a robust approach to cater to alot of the needs of my store and my customers, making it a WIN-WIN for everyone. Also the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MARIO! He was so patient and gave excellent advice on all questions. I would sign up again to work with him!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any downsides/dislikes at the moment. If I would suggest anything would be the capability to design our widget.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Created one system for my online store and my brick & mortar so my customers can shop online and in-store and earn rewards. More robust system.

What do you like best about the product?
Offers a complete loyalty system as well as customer communication platform. SMS, email, Push - you name it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - their support is amazing and always so responsive. Great documentation and the platform is updated frequently with new improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to connect more personally with our guests and rewarding them for repeat visits. Helps us send more targetted offers and re-engage with guests leading to higher repeat visits.

The draw featuring kangaroo is really very user-friendly. It helps us do draws at our events without having to collect tickets for save receipts to choose a winner.

What do you like best about the product?
There's a lot you can do with it for sure, and I like that it integrates with our POS. I like that you can schedule emails and have campaigns that repeat automatically that was super useful for us and asking for reviews automatically from every customer. The rewards system was very easy to set up and use. Lots of ways to use it to and options. With Lightspeed integrated it was super easy to redeem the customers points as well or special offers. It runs smoothly I never had any technical difficulties with the points side of things.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall felt like it overpromised and under-delivered. I wasn't there when we originally signed up for a lengthy contract, (which we are now looking to get out of). The integration with our POS though good, wasn't as seamless as we thought and required a lot of work to add segments of customers so it wasn't quite as easy to send targeted campaigns. There are a lot of features we don't utilize, but I wish Kangaroo had spent more time developing less features but making them the BEST on the market. The email campaigns are clunky to set up and often, once sent would look different then when I was making them. No complaints about the rewards program it's easy to use and set up and to redeem awards for customers. My biggest issue was that I was paying for extra email credits to be added automatically every month (which weren't expensive) but every time I looked at the beginning of the month, they weren't there. I had a hard time explaining that to my account manager and couldn't get a hold of them by phone so gave up pretty much.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think about what your business actually needs. If it's a rewards and referral program Kangaroo could be great for that. Take some time to do research. There's a lot in Kangaroo but I found it overwhelming so if you only need it for one specific area of marketing, you could probably find an easier/less expensive option. If you want to do a lot and have someone dedicated to learning everything about Kangaroo and implementing it, it could definitely be worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with customers and update them. Every time we send an email campaign our website sees a boost in traffic which is great. I believe recurring visits from customers have increased.
