What do you like best about the product?
Multiple emails can be sent, each prepared in advance with a predetermined list of recipients, and even programmed so that if certain recipient don't open the initial email, they receive a follow up message or other helpful alternatives of sending. Thanks to it's effective spam filtering and and anti-spam methods, Act-On has a solid track record of getting emails into subscribers inboxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
When there are numerous individuals on an email template, it behaves strangely ;you must toggle the spacing till it is fixed; and you can only tell when it is repaired when you send a test email because the issues don't appear in the preview part.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform has proven to be incredibly reliable and adaptable to all of our marketing team's demand. It has a tool for building landing pages and lead generation forms. Because of the platforms simplicity, you can effortlessly manage your marketing procedures. The Act-On team works with me till we find a solution if i have a problem or need some technical assistance with it. It syncs flawlessly with our salesforce instance and offers all the reporting i need to track.

What do you like best about the product?
We have been using Act-on since 2008 and their responsive and friendly customer support is what stands out the most. With Act-on, I easily create landing pages, forms, email campaigns, and newsletters to engage customers, nuture leads, and more. Being able to monitor website activity, and measure metrics for ROI is critical to monitoring marketing qualified leads. Being able to track activity for marketing and sales-qualified leads is a huge advantage that allows us to engage with the customer at the right time and leverage what is most important to the customer or prospect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Removing contacts with no emails that were automatically imported years ago when we used the Salesforce integration has to be done manually, one at a time. I wish there were a way where you could scrub the lists and remove all those people without emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Engaging customers at the right time and nurturing customers along the sales journey. Creating our monthly customer newsletter in Act-on via email and saving as a landing page is extremely important and saves me so much time. Plus, we frequently participate in third-party emails with industry magazines, so creating the emails within Act-on and then downloading the HTML files are critical and a huge timesaver.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Act-on for a number of years now. As my email marketing platform (both one-off marketing campaigns and automated send campaigns - based on customer activity). As my survey collection tool (using it to collect prospect surveys and polls, and client information and evaluations). As my prospect go to to download white papers and hints and tips. As my client go to area to download workbooks and special instructions. With all this information collected together so that I can mine it and use it to improve what we do and how we comunicate. It integrates well with Salesforce and our bespoke build website.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ghost clicks - they are the bane of my life (and probably anyone else that sends emails) - I know this is not Act-ons fault, but i'm hoping that their amazing developers will find a fix or work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing what our customers see and do, combining it together in one place so that we can target them and exclude them from things that are not relevant. This has saved me and the sale team a lot of time when looking for customer inteligence.

What do you like best about the product?
I like many things about Act-On; the main one is its user interface; it is intuitive and offers excellent functionality and flexibility; it is an easy-to-use tool; we have not required excellent technical knowledge to adapt to its use, and the training for new users has been fast. It has a great variety of pre-designed templates for email campaigns; what I like most about it is that we can customize them to meet our specific requirements; the email editor is straightforward to use and has a drag-and-drop function that makes everything even easier for us. Finally, it is complemented with many integrations to complete the work more efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the things that could be improved about Act-On is the loading times; they are slow compared to other tools we have used previously, and, although it is not a cheap tool, it has compensated for it with its ease of use and valuable features to make our marketing work more efficient, the results have been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Act-On has helped us increase interaction with our customers in a simple and efficient way; campaigns are easy to set up and allow us to have a personalized landing page. It is very flexible in terms of customization, which is something we really liked; we have not found such a level of customization in any previously used tool. Its integration capability is fantastic; it is compatible with a wide range of tools that add a lot to our productivity and make the work less tedious while saving time. The marketing automation options are effective. Act-On makes creating, managing and sending effective marketing campaigns easy; our overall experience has been excellent.

What do you like best about the product?
The helpful products, and superlative human support provided by my Account rep, but also from their very timely customer service group. As well, they have excellent training and product knowledge/self-learning resources available to users at all times via their Act On University: Connect platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a whole lot, however, the way their contact lists are set up could be more organized. However, definitely comparable to most other platforms and the way their contacts are set up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Act On provides great analytics and formatting options in their email software.
