What do you like best about the product?
Formstack has helped us get our clients' documents to them for their signatures! They make it super easy to sign a document and return it promptly. Just click to sign! Formstack was also one of the most affordable signature platforms that I could find. Formstack makes the signing process very simple and easy to learn if it's your first time. They have upgraded their look since we joined, and it undoubtedly looks much more congenial and makes it much more straightforward to navigate their website. They also offer the ability to create multiple templates. Their multiple document upload features are very nice when I want to send one email for signatures to a client instead of two or three separate emails. I couldn't be happier with the service I've received from Formstack. Their customer service is quite excellent. They were always prompt in responding and resolving any issues I had. The few times I had to deal with a billing issue, the billing staff was speedy to respond & resolve my issues. Responsive customer service is very important when running a business, and Formstack has that covered! It's good to know that Formstack has our back!

What do you dislike about the product?
Formstack's main disadvantage is that you cannot use the same email for a spouse's signatures on the first send. So if your client only has one email, you can only get one signature at a time. Sometimes the lining of the signature placement is off if you don't know how/where to place the signature boxes so that the signatures appear on the line.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Formstack has allowed us to offer an online sign option to all our clients. Now they can sign from anywhere as long as the client has access to their email or mobile phone, as of more recently. We have truly been able better help and serve our client's needs! Formstack's been able to help our agency streamline more processes instead of emailing the client a document they have to print and sign before scanning the signed document back onto their computer to send to us or making the client drive to our office! It was very helpful to be able to go right to Formstack to find a document that was sent, even if it was sent over a year ago.

There is no support for this product, we've submitted a problem involving authentication using the API to the support multiple times. When we actually could get the support team to respond after multiple attempts, they pushed us off to "Professional Services" who wanted to charge us $400/hr for what amounts to an issue with logging into the API. I was able to get a call with someone on the sales team, his initial response was "wow, I'm surprised you're still a customer" Were we not already pretty tied to the Formstack Forms product, I assure you that we would not be. He informed me that as a new company, they have yet to build out a support staff.

We were hoping to develop an E-signing add-on to our CRM platform.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can load a template for commonly used documents. It makes mapping the document much quicker, especially things like applications where there are lots of blanks to fill in.

Figuring out how to setup the templates was challenging, and we needed to upgrade to the next price level. But it is a real time saver and I don't remember what I was doing without it.

I prefer Formstack over other e-signature providers because it's easy for the client, no passwords are required to log in. Also, I love that it has the helpful feature to take them to the spot they need to sign. On top of that, I love that I can type text and that the program remembers contact information.

There have been many times when the website has been "down." The most significant change and the reason we want to switch software is the printer function has been removed. You no longer can print to Formstack. You have to save and then upload it or drag and drop, which wastes time and is not convenient.

Don't do it - Ever since they changed the printer function, it is not worth it. Find another one.

100% reliability, never had a problem, very easy for end user to figure out. Probably the easiest and best working software product in my office. Got rid of our fax machine and analog phone line, which saved lots of time and hassle.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and function is simple to understand. The design is also user friendly with the upload and/or drop down file function. I also like that you can add multiple files onto one upload to send to a client for signature. It's also nice that the client gets a copy of the completed file like we do for their records too. The cost is also a benefit because it's cost effective for the functionality we received and use.

What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have a text only option for forms if someone doesn't have an email but has a cell phone. Unless someone has an email, you can't access the text function solely. You have to have both. I don't have any other complaints with the system. Also, when it was InsureSign, it was easier to explain to clients. Under the new name that is now changing again, it's a bit wordy. InsureSign was easier to comprehend, FormStackSign needs a littler more explanation with clients so they know to expect that email, in case it goes to the SPAM folder.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's increased productivity with getting things signed from clients. It's more efficient and faster for processing purposes. I noticed that clients respond quicker to the eSign function then they did with fax, email, or regular mail. It also is more efficient if we need signed endorsements for carriers since it comes back in a digital format; we can easily send it to the carrier for processing at a faster rate then we had in the past.

The company changed names from InsureSign to Formstack in 2019. The new name is not as clear to the recipients which causes the recipients to question its legitimacy.

We are able to obtain electronic signatures on documents within minutes, whereas we would have mailed the hard copies to the client's home for signature. The old method was time consuming and expensive compared to the Formstack electronic signature method. Our turnaround time is generally less than 24 hours with Formstack, and the old method was about 7 days.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is a somewhat simple product, and my absolute favorite part is how well it ties into Formstack Forms and Formstack Documents - I'm thinking they'll make the integration even tighter and easier over time, but even now it's pretty great. No reason to use a product like Zapier to connect or anything like that if you're using Formstack forms or Documents, and no knowledge of connecting APIs or even Webhooks is necessary, just a simple process that takes a minute or two to connect, all without leaving Formstack. Very cool. It also comes out on the same bill with your other Formstack products, which tends to make billing easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
The product is not the most visually appealing in the world, especially when you stack it up next to HelloSign and Docusign, which I think tend to look better. There are no integrations with any file storage solutions like Google Drive, Dropbox, One Drive, or Box yet. Sometimes logging in can get tricky if you're logged into all three Formstack products at the same time - annoying, but not a deal breaker for me since the features of all three products together make it more than worth it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated signatures of documents created by some sort of online app, created using the answers input to fields by users on a form processor has been a dream of mine for my organization for some time. Formstack Sign has been the final piece in making that dream a reality for us.

What do you like best about the product?
Formstack Sign, works well with our file types, we are not worried whether it is PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs, or any Microsoft Documents and provides captures signature for us along with dates. In this way we keep a good record of our working. Our clients never faced any difficulty in drawing the signatures, because they can easily sign by using a premade signature and also they can draw with their finger. It has become a valuable platform for working efficiently.

What do you dislike about the product?
Formstack is not associated with nay live chats or live callings, because sometime customers needed to confirm the things again, and it becomes time consuming to login through other apps for communication and then coming back towards it.

It is very unique tool in terms of managing your contracts and documentation completion, it will greatly benefit the business to customer and business to business services. We will recommend it to all type of organization as it is universal platform. Must give it a try you will love it.

The system is very user friendly and saves all previous information! The forms are easily accessible and super easy to fill out for your customers. The auto-reminders to clients are excellent as well! I also like being able to go write back where I left off, have the option to cancel a signature, update the forms, and all the options with one drop down menu.

What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of any, it just really comes in handy for required forms! I would just recommend an auto-download feature that sends the signed forms to your email in PDF format. To also have an option for a Every 3rd day reminder, instead of every day. Some customers see that as a pain, but really, they just need to sign!

Compared to other competitors, this will save you money, and has a very easy database to use. You will not regret using this software for your business, as it makes everything very smooth. As soon as a customer signs their forms, we can get the policy in place, and the notifications are super fast, no waiting for a delayed email notification for signed forms!

Saves all emails previously used, great benefit! It also helps me keep track as to what customers need to still complete signing. I have first hand knowledge of my customers. I know when they don't get their signatures done and I can follow up, instead of leaving it in the hands of the carrier. It is nice that the carrier offers the e-sign option, but I still prefer the hands on customer experience for my insureds. Insuresign let's me offer that kind of experience.

Insuresign makes it easy to bind new business for clients just moving here, or clients who travel frequently. Our clients are happy because it means they can sign from home, instead of taking time off work to swing by the office!

Sometimes the documents have difficulty uploading... not sure if this is an Insuresign issue or if this is an issue with our internal broker management system.

I wish there was a way to separate signed documents. Often on commercial lines I have property, gl, wc apps, etc that are all going to separate carriers plus sometimes finance agreements. I either have to send a separate InsureSign email for each document or send one and then forward the single signed document with impertinent information to all final destinations. A ‘page break’ feature would be nice.

SO EASY!! Training wasn't even needed with our "less technologically advanced" users this program is so simple to understand and operate!

No downsides! Every now and then (MAJOR STRESS ON EVERY NOW AND THEN) the program won't let me place certain blocks into the document, but it fixes itself!

I love how simple it is for the client and that it gives them the final confirmation to help confirm everything was processed. I also enjoy the fact that the client receives a copy of the signed document!

I wish it was easier to go back and adjuster the documents I attached, because sometimes I forget to add a document and then have to complete void and recreate a new one :(.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the fact that I can obtain signed documents immediately complete a file without spending a lot of time on an account and move on to the next. The period of sending in the mail or emailing to a client and having them to print, sign, and scan hoping it is completed correctly is over with insure sign.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is the ability to add to a document to sign once you've merge it over, I have to delete the document a redo the process but no worries. I try to make sure not to forget additional documents when I bridge over docs to avoid the hassle or redoing the entire document.

The program is not only efficient but cost effective. You can avoid the hassle of resending documents out to clients who may forget to initial or sign a spot on a document. The Insure sign program pin points the signee where to initial, sign, date, complete a text etc.

No issues or problems thus far with the program . Insure sign have always keeping our agency updated on new changes and enhancements to the platform. We have not had any complaints on the program but gratitude of the effective use of the program. We are excited for all enhancements to make the program better.

I like the time-saving and tracking. It allows me to wrap up a transaction more quickly with less follow up.

Because we have standard forms that we need signed and would like to file under their document name, it would be nice if we could separate the forms and keep the tracking attached to each form. For ease of use with client, stacking is better, but for auditing separating the various forms is better.

I like the slimmed down, ease of use interface. I feel like it is self explanatory so that it doesn't take hardly any training for a brand new user to feel comfortable using. I also like that it integrates with QQ Catalyst and files the forms automatically into our agency management system.

I would like the ability to change the landing page for the insureds, perhaps to a review page. I would also like the ability to text the applications to the insureds without having to upgrade in service.

Honestly there really isn't anything I dislike about this program. I have used other eSign programs and this one is superior in ease of use and features available.

Ease of use. Rarely do I have to walk a client thru the process. InsureSign makes electronic signature gathering as simple as "click and send."

What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to have multiple signatures obtained with one email address. To my knowledge if two named insureds have the same email I have to collect, correct, and resend in order to get both signatures.

Talk about a time saver. This cost of this vendor evaporates the first time you use it. It saves so much time and improves our agency efficiency. The only thing that keeps us from sending out a document for e-signature is a vendor that won't accept it.

Completing a task from start to finish in minutes means less mistakes, less postage, less time following up for items, and easy tracking for anything not completed. You can also have others follow up on the signature status for receipt. The concept is amazing, but for my staff that had to learn something new, it's been an easy tool to integrate into the daily workflow.
