What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to learn, the support staff and materials make it simple to navigate. So many smart features that helped us manage all relevant dates. Loved the administrative permissions giving others conditional access, The search feature is one of the BEST I have used in any tech tool. Downloading and uploading is fast and simple. This is a must have if you handle contracts or legal documents!

What do you dislike about the product?
I loved it, a very smart intuitive tool!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Has a SMART filing system already in place, providing coding that allows you to immediately find what you need. ex: outdated vs. current version. Delegation tool is simple and automated once determined. The download and upload feature is very fast. All in all it saves time and builds organization within your team.

What do you like best about the product?
What attracts me most to this system is the intuitive user interface for each individual user. In addition to providing a user-friendly and logical contract storage system, it is easy (as an admin) to control what any given user can see and do in the system. It’s also straightforward to track all key dates/contract terms and send out customizable reminders for specific individuals. On top of all that, it has features for sending out contracts for signature and unlimited storage for related documents (like redlines), among other things. The other systems I looked at were either way more robust (and thus more complicated) than we needed, or alternatively they provided most of what we needed but were much less intuitive for the way we process things. I could go on, but at the end of the day it is a great contract management system at a very affordable price point. ContractSafe had everything we were looking for (plus a little bit more with the AI and built-in eSignature capability) in a system that is very user-friendly and easy to use.

What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I can say is that the team at ContractSafe has always been very responsive whenever I need help with something. They are very open to helping you be successful and will either fix the problem for you or actively note it down for future reference. My biggest complaint with the system, and this may simply be a user issue, is that the sort system doesn't always work as seamlessly as I think it should. By that I mean that when I'm jumping around in ContractSafe to do a new search or to go to a new folder, all of my previous filters stay until I specifically "x" them out. I'd prefer for it to default with no filters until I specifically add them. There may be a way for me to set that as default, but I'll have to look more into that later. Overall, it is a great system with some flaws, but I've found that those are typically minor or solvable by simply reaching out through the chat to the team.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were looking for a Contract Management system that would keep all past and future contracts in one place. Specifically, we needed a system that easily tracked renewal and other key contract dates so that we'd never miss the opportunity to cancel or otherwise renegotiate our vendor contracts. ContractSafe has an easy reminder system built into it's platform that will notify select individuals when a key contract date is approaching. We also wanted a system that would easily track all the key parameters of a contract for easy reference. For instance, it is easy at the end of the quarter to look up the exact number of contracts that were signed over the last quarter. We know key terms/governing law at a glance and it's easy to export all of this info to an excel sheet if needed. At the end of the day, the system is making my job easier and that's what matters.

The ContractSafe Team has been very helpful with the switch from our old system to theirs, and it happened quickly with their help. Our large team has enjoyed how easy it is to use with minimal training on their part. We especially love that ContractSafe Team is all ears for any improvements to their product.

The only thing I disliked so far in the process is that I wasn't followed up on during the implementation process. I had to reach out to the staff.

Only downside I have seen so far is how "inactive" contracts still count toward teh subscription number.

What do you like best about the product?
We really enjoy being able to track all our deadlines and assign/share relevant information with the right members of our team. Tags have been a gamechanger after living in our old system of folders and sub folders and sub sub folders. The customer support team is also very responsive and helps us get the most out of our account.

We are still figuring out the most efficient way to enter dates when there are hundreds per contract but it's a time consuming process. The attached versions of contracts when sent to a non-user would be great if they were always pdfs.

What do you like best about the product?
The reminders are very useful to help us remember key dates that are coming up. Additionally, reports based on custom views can be scheduled to be sent out at set intervals, which is a very useful feature. We did demo's with several different companies before deciding to go with ContractSafe. For the functionality that is provided, the price is great. Plus, you get unlimited users, while most of the other platforms charge per user. The company is very transparent and straightforward with pricing and functionality offered. They've been great to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?
We're still figuring out the best way to organize documents (tags v. folders), but think we have landed on a system of a combination of both. Additionally, I'm looking forward to another feature that should be rolling out soon where certain fields can be linked to specific parts of the document. This is a feature that looked very useful in other platforms that were more pricey (but not worth the price differential), so I'm excited for this roll out. On that note, I think their team is open to suggestions and are committed to continually improving the platform.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Contracts were previously stored in various locations on our internal servers, people's inboxes, etc, and it was uncertain what contracts were in place. This is helping us to manage the contracts in a central location, summarize key info on contracts, and set up reminders so we can evaluate whether to keep contracts before they automatically renew.

No more spreadsheets for tracking dates! ContractSafe makes it easy to track all the follow-up tasks (i.e., payments, invoices) necessary to execute the contract. Reminders are already saving us time and money!

The capability to convert PDFs to readable/searchable text is extremely helpful when trying to find certain clauses of contracts we may not have looked at in months/years. Having the ability to attach the contract with the email reminders speeds up the approval/renewal process.

Sometimes the AI does not pull data from fields correctly. I think this may be an issue with the formatting of our contracts and not the system itself. It would probably work well with a standardized legal contract format.

Organization. Our previous system made it difficult to remember which contracts had term dates coming up and it was often hard to find the most recent version. I liked ContractSafe from the start. It's incredibly user-friendly and intuitive. Some recent improvements are game-changers for me. Often our clients send me parts of policies in separate files. I can now upload the main contract and attach all other related documents. And that's not even the best part. I can then download the policy and all related documents as ONE FILE. Genius! This has been a huge time-saver, and it keeps everything all nice and tidy. ContractSafe has a fan in me.

What do you like best about the product?
Where to start? The customizable view means that each user can see only the contract data relevant to them. The fact that the price is fixed irrespective of the number of users means I can deploy it across my organization and democratize contract information, without compromising confidentiality. The fact that contracts are assigned unique IDs and can only be uploaded through an actual document means no fictitious contracts can make their way into the database and our organization has a single reference per contract that can be used in various systems (billing, HR, etc). The customizable fields means we can track any type of data per contract relevant to us, making the database a single point of call for all contract data.

What do you dislike about the product?
The speed of loading a contract is not yet where we'd like to see it; large contracts need to be downloaded in order to quickly scroll through.

By far the best contract lifecycle management tool out there.

What do you like best about the product?
Customization. Able to set up custom reminders as needed for different contracts. Able to set up dummy contract for time card submission reminders. Can store all contracts in one place and keep organized, even odd contracts like janitorial service agreements.

What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to be able to store attachments to contracts without upgrading to the more expensive package. Currently using the Entrepreneur package and if this feature of attaching related documents to the contract for storage was included, my recommendation would be a 10 rather than 7.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Contract safe is a good option for small business looking for a centralized cloud tracking software for their contracts. It is easy to use, quick to set up and maintain, and provides value immediately to a small business. The only complaint I have is that the feature to store attachments to the contracts was available on the entrepreneur package as well.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small business with a number of contracts that can not afford to miss key dates on. The ~$100/month allows us to have a secure storage for all of our contracts and add reminder dates to prevent key requirements from slipping through the cracks.

There's limited ability to automatically filter documents between Docusign and ContractSafe, such that signed docs are populated automatically to the correct folders in ContractSafe. CS has offered to work with us on this, though, so as I noted in what I like best- they are true partners. As well- I'm looking forward to the ability to edit/tag/move contracts on mass- which I hear is in the works!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy for businesses to have contracts living in multiple locations and the contents of said contracts being locked in long PDFs that have to be reviewed individually to verify the rights, requirements, and obligations therein. ContractSafe syncs with Docusign to ensure that every contract our team executes is automatically stored in a single location, we can tightly restrict access on a need to know basis, and with a little tagging and labeling, the contracts are searchable and filterable. If I need to verify we are complying with insurance commitments when we are up for renewals, I can simply filter by "insurance requirements" and have my answer in minutes vs. hours of reading contracts.

What do you like best about the product?
I was able to figure out how to use this software in about 10 minutes, including creating customized fields. I was able to start using it immediately, on the first day of the free trial. I can download the list of contracts and hand it over to those who don't want to login to the system, or I can give them read only access to the system so that they can view the contract and status information.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had a 2 week free trial so that I had more time to spend showing it to others at my company before I got approval to purchase it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
There are many tools that will allow you to do a week trial, and i highlight recommend it. As soon as you get in there, you should be able to tell if the tool will work or not. I knew that Dubsado wouldn't let me have contract status without going thru their whole workflow, I couldn't figure out Agiloft (sp?), and Hubspot had Deal status but not contract status specifically. The trials will tell you all you need to know.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- organization of contracts in progress (couldn't get this to work in ZOHO, DUBSADO, HUBSPOT) instead of me maintaining a spreadsheet on the shared drive - tracking statuses (sales people want to know, and I would forget about contracts that i had sent out weeks ago) - sharing contract statuses with sales team.

The owners are always willing to listen to feedback and give support, which has been hugely helpful as we got started with the product. We found other systems to be very difficult to set up and extremely slow to upload. The notification system is perfect for our needs and the automatic OCR is also very useful. Very highly recommended as a straightforward, easy to set up and use contract management system.

We needed a way to store documents so they could be shared across the company with select individuals. We did not need a way to create or edit contracts and we didn't want to pay for features we would never use. ContractSafe has just what we wanted.

The reminder function is the star points for the whole solution. Thanks to this function, different reminders can be set for each functional departments, there are no more worries of the long & slow contract reaction process within the group! Also this database is 100% customized, all users can adjust its own need to the database so that the database can well- serve one for its requires.

If the Custom Fields can be set with multiple choices, that could be great for users. Also the filter can only go through one aspect at a time. the later will always override the precedent filtering item which is not so convenience for user to find out the exact contract among the others.

this is one of the best solution for all industries. One can easily obtain the necessary info once imputed into the Contract safe software. This liberate the traditional paper admin work to a cyber solution, so that all the concerning colleagues can reach to the info without geographic and chronological obstacle.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been struggling with the routing, approval and storage of our contracts for decades. We were killing trees left and right and misplacing things on a regular basis. Contract Safe was implemented in a day and with some simple customizations which we were able to make ourselves and a bit of internally conducted training for our users, we were off and running. Already, after just a few months, we are worlds ahead.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much especially considering the cost but there are a few areas I'd like to be able to customize a bit more, re-name some things and move some things around. However, the recent update to place contracts in folders on the dashboard went a long way to address these concerns.

If you are looking for a simple, cost-effective tool for organizing contracts and don't have a need for complicated workflows, Contract Safe is appropriate and the service is incredibly responsive.

We began using ContractSafe approximately six weeks ago, and are incredibly pleased with it. We previewed two other business offerings and decided on ContractSafe for its ease of use (almost out of the box). The settings are intuitive and allow us to configure the database easily. As the tool is being used more, we are finding that our company's employees are embracing its utility and engaging in our collection efforts as we seek to populate our contracts.

We have not, as yet, truly encountered areas of dislike. We would like to see more functionality in the ability to read the attachments, such as the ability to highlight. Having this would make it easier for a user to spot the key data points we are entering in the relevant data fields.

Centralization of documents across three business units precipitates our need and desire to consolidate into a platform. There is not really any reporting per se, but you are able to download an excel document and customize the fields you want to bring in. I know they are working on way to auto generate reports each month.

The ease of us - it is extremely easy to upload documents and can even do it via email. It is also easy to sort and organize documents. We can set up alerts to remind us when contracts expire or new to be reviewed. There are also tags you can use and you can combine related documents. There is also various access levels that allow you to set people up so they can view but not edit/delete anything you have uploaded. The ability to upload a document is a great feature because you can just forward on the document with what category it is labeled and you are done!

While there aren't very many negatives about ContractSafe, I would say sometimes it is tedious to sort through all the documents especially when you have a lot uploaded.

What do you like best about the product?
ContractSafe is great for organization and simplifying the storage of all company legal documents. It streamlines the process so that anyone can use it no matter their position within the company. The staff is super helpful and takes suggestions that users make seriously and if there is ever a problem they work as fast as possible to resolve the problem to ensure that it does not affect the users experience with the site. They also always keep the users updated with new features and things happening with the site. And when they do not have a quick fix the team keeps users updated as to the situation. An additional benefit that is great for my company is that you can limit what specific users of an account can see which is great depending on the type of contract being added.

The only thing I don't like is that sometimes I spend too much time logged in that I have to re-login to my account. Ease of use! It is a no-brainer and anyone can figure it out. It's easy to upload files and find them later. I also like that I can scan/email straight into ContractSafe so some documents don't even have to touch my hard drive. I like that it's super secure and the customer support is amazing. I like that you can set levels of user security, who can see what, etc.

The only thing I don't really like is that some of our users would still like to be able to create folders and put things in them as a way of organization and that is not an option in ContractSafe.

If I could add one thing it would be to be able to use SMS alerts as well with the email ones for auto renewing contracts and also allow for alerts other than auto renews.
