What do you like best about the product?
The software is very user friendly and the help/support center is fantastic. Andrew is kind, informative, patient when learning, and knowledgable. If he is unable to help, he will escalate the issue internally and follow up with you as soon as he has an answer. The functions and reports are very easy to use and create as needed. I like the ability to create a frequency for commonly used reporting within our office. Setting a calendar to run and send it makes my job much easier and allows meto focus on matters that need more of my time.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't necessarily dislike anything that this software offers. CW is looking to hear back from frequent users and open to hearing functions we would like to see in the near future.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CW allows for me to organize and track all of our contracts nationwide and gives visibility to our operations managers at the same time. It helps solve a lot of the back and forth emails, calls, etc. making our time more valuable and keeping us on the same page.

What do you like best about the product?
ContractWorks has allowed me to consult with healthcare companies to organize and centralize all of their contracts! It's easy to track key contract aspects, and easy to create notifications of upcoming termination dates, due dates for financial or community reports, and simple notifications of pending change (increase) in lease rate. Being able to customize the number, type and timing of alerts allows the user to customize what works best for the organization.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wonder if there is a more efficient method of storing 'archived' or outdated contracts than in a separate folder. Historically, I created just one archive folder, but needed frequently to see expired leases - so now I have at least two 'archive' folders.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to set up, store and track/report on numerous contracts - under self-defined groupings (folders). Reminders/notifications of upcoming term dates or other dates of significance easy to establish.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized storage of all contracts, various permission levels to access contracts, and notifications of upcoming terminations. Assuring timely reports, needed to comply with various grants are produced by their due date.

The 2 factor authentication. No matter what I do it requires me to get a code every day. I never shut my computer down and it says it will not ask for 30 days but it asks every day.

What do you like best about the product?
This a simple, intuitive program that has proven itself extremely valuable. Makes the process of storing, retrieving and most importantly managing contracts and their ancillary documents easy and effective. Features are well thought out, not just added for the sake of it. Signature process is easy, powerful, time saving. Reminders on contracts renewals and expiration's are exactly what everybody needs, without exception.

What do you dislike about the product?
Upon completion of the signature process, the PDF's are distributed to all signatories automatically, which is excellent. The minor thing I don't like is the little advertising blurb CW adds to it. I would like it to be customizable and tailored to the client.

Ensure that you get C-level support to acquire the initial batch of documents. Expand user base and set up reminders at the beginning, people will follow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What is the benefit of knowing your agreements are safely stored and accessible yet secure? What is the return on having the ability to manage your fees timely instead of having a contract auto renew? We are setting up a centralized repository to house all executed contracts. ContractWorks is a powerful tool because it allows for different levels of security to give to each of the folders. The ability to control access levels is helpful when setting up different access levels for other departments for each contract or contract type.

What do you like best about the product?
The basic product is a great value with unlimited storage and users for a cloud-based document archive with strong tagging and reporting. If you are interested in using e-signature as well, this product is a great entry-level product and includes features that integrate signing and archiving. Since we began using the product, features have grown more and more sophisticated, including permitting internal approvals before signature. These features are typically rolled out one at a time, with clear educational videos, and we've adopted basically every feature to come our way. When we have had some questions, we asked the developers about features we might like, and they've been transparent about whether these things are coming or not. We have found that the user interface has been updated to become more and more user-friendly over time, and that updates are seamless for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, especially given the price point. Would like to see integration with some project management software or Microsoft Teams in the future, but that doesn’t detract from the functionality of the product at all. I'd say that users using tablets or smartphones for more than just reviewing and signing documents will find that the product just performs better on a desktop or laptop computer, particularly from the point of view of the person who is creating new documents and sending them for signatures or approvals. We have a very large database at this point, and the search feature takes just a little longer than one might expect to load, although I think this is primarily because of the size of our own archive. There is a search feature that can be run from the reports menu that works with no or imperceptible latency. Finally, there are a handful of smallish features we'd like to see added: one is the ability to add reviewers to a packet already in process without canceling and restarting the packet. We can substitute reviewers, which is great, but sometimes we find out someone else might need to sign off too.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think carefully about how you and your colleagues will be using any contract management software. The training required for a product like this can be quite extensive for some. ContractWorks is amazingly simple to use, and requires almost no training for signatories. For those who are tasked with the administrative functions associated with managing contracts, the interface is simple and familiar. Importing our old archive into the system was as simple as dragging and dropping it in. If you're in a department that will be completely new to contract management, I'd say that a product like this one is about as easy to adopt as you could want.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are cataloguing our executed agreements in a much more useful way and mining them for useful insight, and ensuring that we don’t miss deadlines for auto renewals or holdovers. We are also minimizing the use of paper for signature and review and reducing bottlenecks that the paper-based process caused. We were immensely grateful that we had already begun using ContractWorks for some time before the pandemic hit and forced us to work remotely--we were able to pivot with just about no delay to a completely electronic process. Training users remotely has been a breeze too.

ContractWorks is very user friendly and extremely efficient. We have thousands of documents, and it is very easy to organize all of them. The ability to tag documents makes it easy to find necessary documents quickly, and the built-in e-signature feature has also made signing contracts super simple and quick. One of my favorite features is the reporting feature, which has allowed me to schedule a report every time I need reminder about when to renew or terminate contracts. Overall, it's great to be able to organize all of our legal files easily in one secure location.

What do you like best about the product?
ContractWorks is not only incredibly easy to implement it is even easier to use. They system is extremely simple to navigate around with minimal training. We use it across our organization and traditionally when rolling out a new application there is a slew of dissatisfaction. With CW we have had nothing but positive feedback, and easy adoption across our organization. If there has been any question or issue that we need addressed, the support desk at CW is eager and always quick to respond. We rolled CW out over two years ago, and I'm still just as pleased with our decision to move forward with them today as I was back then.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside that I have come across on the platform is some basic system limitations. For example you are unable to rotate a document that has been loaded and this must be done prior to uploading to the system. Some of the AI that is within the system could be a bit more robust, but it is nothing that causes problems. Lastly, sometimes the folders are not incredibly user friendly for how you would traditionally think they would move around and flow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We now have detailed reporting that was previously non-existent. It is now incredibly easy to go in and build a report from basic to somewhat detailed for a view of where our contracts stand. If you take the time invest in tagging there is even more functionality that can be found within the system. Lastly, we have realized how easy the system is overall in getting contracts compared to our previous process which was burdensome and incredibly manual.

When signatures are needed you need to send to a specific address. If that is not correct, signers struggle to reassign. It is usually rejected and has to be reassigned. The AI can be be kind of hit or miss sometimes.

What I like best about ContractWorks is their simple feature and layout of the webpage. It is super user friendly and provides the essential attributes needed for the purposes of contracts.

The e-signature feature is helpful, however, it requires the exact name and email address which is limiting in the event where we or the counter signer doesn't know who will sign at the moment the the contract is sent out.

The the above comment on e-signature, I do understand the reason behind it is for privacy protection and credibility. Also, I learned the feature on having restrictions by folder based on the type of role you assign a user. One user can have access to multiple folders while another user can have access to just one. This came in super handy.

What do you like best about the product?
The system is focused on making it easy to get agreements into the system and usable (e.g., searchable, reportable). Developing a well-defined organization structure, tagging, indexing etc. is not a barrier to entry. It's built to help you start using contract information immediately. It's then flexible enough to allow development and refining of organization and tagging as you go. Although the system does not presently have a lot of integrations with other platforms, things like email importing and drag/drop functionality make it very easy to work with.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the views and navigation are simplistic. Although you can create great custom reports, you cannot customize the columns and tags displayed on the main navigation page. It would also be great to have more nuanced control over user rights. I'd like to be able to grant a group of users full access (including modification of tags/templates) but constrained to a particular folder structure. Ultimately, though, it's easy and inexpensive to add additional instances for subsidiaries or other business areas, so this isn't an overly constraining limitation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting agreements into a central repository has been an insurmountable barrier because of the front-end work to organize and index the agreements. ContractWorks solves this by flipping that paradigm around and focusing on getting the contracts into the system and usable first, then building out maturity of indexing/tagging and organization. The artificial intelligence tagging of common contract elements is very helpful and means that contracts can be located and reported upon very shortly after uploading.

it's easy to use and well organized. it's very easy to find the right contract. don't need to hunt around.

I would like the program more if it had API integration option. as a stand-alone, it just takes more time to log in and finds the right contract. as a stand-alone product and I am not sure if it's really worth spending money on it.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and customization make it easy for my users to get up and running quickly. We did not previously have a contract management solution in place and all of the users picked it up quickly and we are well on our way to having it fully implemented. Also, the support is top notch. Myself and a couple of others in my organization have had a couple of issues that we could not figure out and contacted support both by email and on the phone. Each contact was answered quickly and correctly. They made me feel that they really wanted to make sure that we understood the reasoning behind the solution that they presented.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the reporting function to be a little more intuitive. It can do many things, but it takes a while to figure out. The only other thing that I can think of is with the webinars that they conduct periodically. I just wish that they would be more in-depth.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are just starting to scratch the surface of the implementation. At the present time, we are just converting our old paper contracts to .pdfs and putting all new contracts into ContractWorks. In the future, we plan on using the e-signature function.

What do you like best about the product?
ContractWorks is easy to set up, is intuitive to use, so there is limited training requirement, with most users being introduced to ContractWorks with a single 30 minute session. There are also a good range of training videos available on the ContractWorks help site. The user interface is clear and I love the way the contract is visible, rather than a summary. The snippets once tagged up is really useful. The support from the team has been excellent and responsive. In addition the inclusion of e-signing is a great bonus and this is a really useful feature for us. We also have a lot of users, so the low and fixed cost makes this system affordable for us.

What do you dislike about the product?
The AI assistant is still improving and can be hit and miss. It would be nice to create multi document bundles in e-signing. Would be nice to have the option of hosting in UK/EU cloud.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you don't need the contract creation (red lining) element of a contract management system, then ContractWorks will meet your needs extremely well at a great price. The feedback from our users has been universally positive regarding the user interface and ease of use.

We are creating a single repository for the first time so there is visibility of contracts and we are empowering individuals to self-serve. Our business is multi-site and has historically not been integrated, so we are seeing some contract types for the first time and we are getting an idea of volume of agreements. What do you like best about the product?
When we evaluated CMS solutions for our business, we found ContractWorks to be superior both in functionality and price. We are also excited to work with a small company who has a refreshing enthusiasm for its customers. The customer service is amazing! The search functionality is excellent. Finally, I like how there are additional features that we are not currently using, but have access to (and will hopefully use later) for the same price.

What do you dislike about the product?
One shortcoming we've experienced with ContractWorks is the index feature. The exportable XLS is not as user-friendly as standard data rooms (the presentation is more like a text file than an XLS with multiple tiers reflecting folders and subfolders). Also, the reporting functionality and tagging is not as intuitive, and needs some pre-planning in order for the reports to be useful. Finally, when tagging templates are first created and then later improved, it's not clear how these changes impact the reporting functionality. We hope to see improvements in the future!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The search functionality within ContractWorks is excellent and helps us gain efficiencies when looking for specific documents and understanding contractual relationships laterally. We are working towards using ContractWorks as our single portal for all legal documents, not just contracts.

CW provides excellent value for the price, particularly for those who have an offline contract management system and are looking to move to a cloud-based system. Tagging is simple, importing is easy, and generating reports is very user-friendly. Documents are easily accessible from any device, and storage is unlimited.

CW makes signing straightforward documents very simple, which means that not all documents are suitable for this process. Any kind of document review process that involves multiple reviewers who might make changes before signature won't work in CW--it is not possible to revise a document in process for signature. You'll have to cancel the whole thing and start again. This is not the product's primary feature, but it is so easy to use for simple contracts that it makes me wish I could use it for more complex ones.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great choice for those transitioning to document management from a directory-based system. Works very well if existing documents are appropriately catalogued and titled. Import is very simple, and can be accomplished without much lead time. Tagging a large directory full of documents can be cumbersome, but customer support was excellent in this regard during onboarding. Training modules are short and easily accessible online, and are simple for members of my team to access. This is an excellent product overall.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're finding it's much easier to track recurring documents, gather signatures for those kinds of documents, and follow up with signatories who may take awhile to execute. We're saving administrative time on printing and mailing, and worry much less about things being "lost in the mail." Best of all, we're slowly turning our archive into usable information that can inform business decisions.

I also like how convenient it is to look for important documents (the layout is awesome, definitely not confusing). I dislike that I have to re-enter the same/ repetitive information every time i upload a new document. It would be nice if it saved information so it would save me time. The most compelling part of the platform is being able to generate reports that indicate which contracts/docs are due to expire within a specific time (eg 90 days), along with the ability to pre-set email reminders prior to a document's expiration. This is insanely helpful in capturing these time sensitive elements before they slip through the cracks.

Honestly, I have no criticisms. Any feature suggestions we've submitted to the team are always considered thoughtfully, and some portion of it (if not the entire feature we've requested) is usually implemented in some way. It's an easy, secure, intuitive product, and it will do wonders for your internal processes. If you're looking for a sophisticated, cost-effective solution to manage your documents, this is it, and if you're familiar with SecureDocs, ContractWorks is the natural extension to that product. It has fulfilled the exact need we initially sought them out for, which was to create a defined database to keep track of documents with varying validity periods (eg Tax - W8s, Legal - LPAs, Compliance - KYC docs etc). By automating a previously manual process, we have eliminated the enormous workload required to track and maintain documents. Furthermore, by being able to generate reports to determine which contracts expire within the next few months, we have streamlined our processes and increased the overall efficiency of our workflow. But the best part is, by continuously refining the product, actively listening to customer feedback, and providing an incredible support team at your disposal 24/7, the ContractWorks product continues to provide additional value to our team, and we continue to identify new use cases. It really is a no brainer. You'll pay peanuts for a premium product at a bargain price.

ContractWorks is our first contracts database, before its implementation, we were trying to keep track of hundreds of contracts and agreements on a shared drive. Finding anything was a nightmare. Being the Contract Admin, when anyone wanted a copy of an agreement they emailed me requesting a copy; often times trying to locate documents was difficult, depending upon who had touched it last. We were in the market for a Contract Management database for a couple of years, and as we're a small organisation, the big tools were not what we needed, too complex and too expensive. I was thrilled to meet Albert at a conference and we talked about what I was looking for in a Contracts Management tool. i started working with ContractWorks on a trial basis and within days was a believer. ContractWorks is an awesome tool and thankfully so darn simple and easy to work with. I spent a good deal of time loading contracts, templating and tagging (the basics of all databases one must remember - garbage in - garbage out). Knowing and understanding what my organisation wanted and needed to get out of ContractWorks, set the map for how we would categorise and maintain the database. When needed, I'd call support or email and be chatting with Bryce or anyone within minutes and guidance was there. When new features were introduced, I got a call to advising, I might like this new feature and direction on how it may be helpful. Now that our ContractWorks database is established, anyone in the organisation can find what they are looking for within seconds, yes seconds. Key in a number, a name, a document type, whatever you're looking for, and there it is, or there's the list. The reporting functions too, are easy to set up and manipulate, and revise as needed. I LOVE MY CONTRACTWORKS. and would recommend to those struggling with how to keep track of and keep organised and current all relevant contracts, vendors, customers, We are one happy customer of ContractWorks.

My Senior Management Team is able to find documents without emailing me to provide. The search engine provides so many search options, all documents are easily accessible to only those who need to see them. Giving permissions at different levels, i.e.e full access or merely reading with no copying/downloading capability is also a great tool. Prompt attention to upcoming contract expiration. Contract expiry often needs to be addressed well in advance and the notification email feature is perfect. Document owners and Project Team members are advised and the necessary steps are addressed in good time.

What do you like best about the product?
I use ContractWorks to track licenses. We have a number of licenses in each state, each has different requirements, renewal timeframes, costs and other data associated with it. I can store the actual license certificate in ContractWorks and tag it with all the relevant data. I love the feature to get notifications to my email at a defined period before a certain date - I use this to get notified of upcoming expiration dates 90 days before they expire. This means I don't have to constantly log in to check what's coming but can see it in my email. The reporting feature is also great as I can see all the licenses along with whichever tags I would like to report on - in one list - I use this to see what is expiring soon, whether a renewal has been applied for and whether the renewal was accepted. I was using spreadsheets and DropBox before and the fact I can store the data and documents in one place, and report on them and have that appear in my inbox makes life so much easier.

What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to be able to clone the contents of tags from one document to another.

Watch the videos and ask lots of questions to the support team - if you need it! You may not as it's all intuitive, but the support team are really quick to respond and helpful.
