What do you like best about the product?
Gatekeeper is a very easy to use tool which takes very little initial set-up. It's a low code product which enabled someone like me with no real experience to configure our system and get us up and running very quickly. Using the tool has helped grealty increae our maturity and understanding of our Vendors and Vendor contracts and there are new features being developed and which have been rolled out which are helping to have a one-stop shop for everything Vendor related.

What do you dislike about the product?
At times there have been smaller areas such as minor fixes which improve functionality but have taken a while to implement. There is a user voice section, but some smaller items seem to be obvious wins (Admins being able to delete records, how to trigger a renewal and maintain existing information, selecting contract owner through the workflow etc.) which should be considered separately.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moving us from a low level of maturity to a sophisticated understanding of our Vendors and their associated contracts and helping us to understand the risks associated with our Vendors more explicity.

What do you like best about the product?
Gatekeeper has been a lifesaver for our company. We’ve used them for over three years, and the service and functionality have been exceptional. Gatekeeper system - we doubled the number of monthly contracts executed even with a smaller team managing it. The workflow transitions and features are easy to configure, and the automation streamlines the entire process for our internal owners and legal team. Exporting the data and the ability to upload changes in bulk when needed is beneficial. Gatekeeper has reduced internal emails, significantly increased efficiency, and is a contract repository across the company and departments. Gatekeeper service - you cannot beat Gatekeeper’s responsive and helpful team members. We enjoy working directly with Melanie M. as our Customer Success Manager. She is absolutely the BEST – it is easy to book meetings with her, and she always follows up to ensure we have what we need (and sends short videos to help answer our questions). We also work with Mark P. as our Account Executive, and he is fantastic to work with. Gatekeeper does not nickel and dime customers like other vendors. They make their pricing straightforward, with no hidden fees or surprise charges throughout the year.

What do you dislike about the product?
No complaints. Gatekeeper continues to roll out system enhancements, so any improvements we initially requested have been implemented (like the Admin control features, DocuSign integrations, etc.). Out of all the systems used by our company, this has been the easiest and with the best ongoing customer support.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gatekeeper allows the company to have a single repository for contracts that is easy to use and find what you need. It has improved how employees submit requests to the legal team and quick turnaround times for contract execution.

What do you like best about the product?
Gatekeeper has been an integral part of daily work and helps to keep employees and vendors in compliance with contract and vendor management policies. The ease of finding vendors and contract information, tracking the status of contracts and vendors, and renewing various required documentation with expiration dates and labeling features is super helpful. The messaging capability is also helpful. It tracks conversations related to contracts and vendors, even if the response is from an e-mail account.

What do you dislike about the product?
My only complaint is not being able to archive or delete vendor contacts (users). Re-titling them can currently overcome this, but I believe they are working to change this.

Gatekeeper helps our company track and manage many contractual agreements and vendor relationships across many departments. We can share information, negotiate contracts with vendors, store documents, pull reports, easily see what is due for renewal, and do many other valuable and necessary tasks more efficiently.

The ease of vendor management is what I love the most about Gatekeeper. I can easily renew or cancel my contract right in the platform. The automation is also a huge plus.

I wish the charts were able to display more data at one time. Would love to have multiple data points on each axis. The pricing is also a bit high. I would love to see SLAs incorporated on the Essentials plan.

Lack of reporting capabilities outside of pre-prepared reports. Lack of SAML 2.0 SSO, role based access, and open API in standard contract levels. This software is unique in that they price by vendors and contracts v. users and modules.

It is still very early in our use of this system, but we are looking forward to a variety of efficiencies in contract lifecycle management, contract renewal notifications and negotiations, and managing strategic partner information/due diligence reviews.

The sales process and onboarding was tailored entirely to our needs: light touch when needed but hands-on support when we required it. We never had to chase for support within the sales process but neither did it feel pushy.

Very little... This Saas product does require thought and set-up logic to make the best use of the tool for your company, but there is flexibility to enable you to learn as you go.

Multiple contact and SOW variables with a variety of terms and clauses that the other parts of the business needed to access, but many contracts that needed to be held securely. We had a very paper-based and email held manual solution that was causing errors and missing opportunities for claims and re-negotiations

It is very easy and intuitive to use, which allows me to make a much more fluid use of the system without having to worry about any errors or problems with the program, it also represents an excellent option to manage my information. suppliers, since it has a much more complete and robust interface than Excel, in fact I already export the data automatically in graphs which allows me to appreciate the percentage of net purchases made from a supplier, their customer service results be quite friendly when solving a problem or clarifying any doubt

It would be quite complete if it had the option to allow digital signatures to support the information sent, so they should integrate with applications of that type.

It has allowed me to have a better control regarding the information provided by my suppliers, in general it has helped me to have a better inventory management when they dispatch the merchandise to know more or less how long I should return to request another order to restock.

What I like best about Gatekeeper is that it is extremely easy to use and highly customizable.

What I like least about Gatekeeper is the way the Parent - Child relationship is setup. I would prefer to have a Master Record at the Supplier level and all related agreements (SOW, Amendments, Pricing Schedules, etc.) would be a part of that Master Record and have the option of not treating them as separate contracts.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
One piece of advice I would offer is that it is important to have clear business rules in the form of an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) prior to going live. For example, the SOP should state clear and concise naming conventions of contracts. It is important to have consistency for reporting purposes. Also, since Gatekeeper charges by Active contracts, it is important to evaluate all Active contracts and consider which contracts should be listed as Archived. Gatekeeper doesn't charge for Archived contracts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Gatekeeper we have been able to gain visibility of all contracts as well as staying on top of renewals. There is a lot of functionality we haven't been leveraging (e.g. storing contract templates, eNegotiate, eSignature, approval routing, etc.) however, we are currently in the process of implementing some of these great features.

We looked at about a dozen contract management solutions, and Gatekeepers' approach to intake and e-negotiation is truly unique. The Employee Portal made it easy for our national field offices to submit contracts for review, and the Kanban Workflows helps management stay on top of approvals and provide transparency into the negotiation and approval process.

What do you dislike about the product?
Workflows can be challenging to set up if your objectives are not clearly defined in advance. This is less of a dislike and more like some friendly advice.

Gatekeeper pricing is mid-range but the features are high end.

We previously used a "contracts" email inbox with poor results. Ability for each team to create relevant dashboards and reporting especially for effective supplier management using performance data already captured, simple integration and great client service, security and access controls to various contracts and information between teams, on the go use to find contract information wherever you are even on a mobile phone, simple way to manage sending out mass supplier amendments, the fair pricing element of the license being based on document storage rather then user licenses, ability to store negotiation discussions within the portal and perform esign, ability to create a contract signing approval process within the system to align with internal signing processes.

Uploading our contracts on a team by team basis, all of which contain different content and account details is a manual process which can lead to inconsistency and delays in having the system fully operational for our needs. This is obviously not an issue with Gatekeeper but for a small to medium sized business it would be useful to take this into account at the initial project planning stage.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Definitely speak to the sales team about your specific needs and concerns and they will help you find solutions that will work for your business through the system. The client service is amazing, very knowledgeable and adaptable to different business sector needs, understanding that there often has to be a use function business case that elevates the solution to more than just a legal team service.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are so many areas within our business that had to be managed manually previously that Gatekeeper are helping us find ways to simplify and automate (eg our bi annual carrier compliance letters can now be sent through Gatekeeper to our relevant supply base with any ongoing discussions and even the signature process itself logged through the system), and when we integrate our supplier performance data against the contract terms this will allow our carrier management team to proactively identify opportunities to improve standards or lower pricing.

Ideal system with feature set matches our needs. I like workflow flexibility, access control, bulk upload/update, flexible vendor and contract views, user management and dashboards. Overall, I like intuitive design, it helped our admin and end users to start using without much training.

Better control on vendor onboarding, policy enforcement related to the preferred vendors, spend analysis based on the category and teams,. Moreover, now we can proactively monitor all expiring contracts and trigger notifications to our internal stakeholders. This system helped us maintain all our contractual documentation and vendor contact details in a centralized location. Also we are using this system effectively to track risk based on our audit findings. Overall we are able to transform our vendor management by onboarding Gatekeeper system.

(e.g. set the default contract status as "live" with the ability to change to "pipeline" when needed. d) scrolling up and down the screen or left to right can be a bit cumbersome at times.

Consider whether you have the expertise internally to configure Gatekeeper to your needs or whether to engage the vendor team to do so. If you are moving to a digital repository and workflow from a paper-based or Excel spreadsheet-based tracking system, give thought to how you want to label the contract cards, uploaded files, etc. so that end users will intuitively know where to look to find the contracts they need.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To date, we have used Gatekeeper primarily as a repository of contracts - having moved from disparate collections of contracts held by regional offices or local units to a central repository held by our national office. This has helped to enhance compliance monitoring. We have used Gatekeeper workflows on a pilot basis in an effort to replace a slow, paper-based and Canada-Post based process for circulating contracts between our local, regional and national offices with a digital one. Doing so has allowed us to speed up the process of circulating, reviewing and signing off on contracts so that our local units get paid sooner!

Gatekeeper provides an intuitive system and is very responsive to our needs. I like Gatekeeper's ability to truly connect with the customer and Gatekeeper's will to actually listen to client's suggestions for improvement. I would like to have a mobile app. Also it would help our organisation to have the possibility to make our own reports (basic reports are not sufficient since we added some non default fields)

I highly recommend Gatekeeper to both SME and corporate organisations. Gatekeeper actually listens to the client's needs and has the agility to develop its features quite fast

We now have a clear overview of our supplier base per program. We have insight in the spend of our suppliers. Suppliers register themselves in Gatekeeper and have the possibilty to update their company information if needed. It saves us a lot of time and we keep a clean database.

The service team assigned to us is wonderful. Matt is fantastic to work with and the product is easy to use. The flexibility is refreshing and truly is a wonderful product platform. The workflows are simple to setup and provide maximum functional flexibility. The system has a lot of potential to expand with us as an enterprise grade platform solution.

What do you dislike about the product?
Like any product certain functionality or features are offered as additional buy-ups versus being included in base functionality, but the Sales team is willing to work with clients to find the right solutions that are aligned with budget restrictions.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Start simple and build with the product, and don't be afraid of an iterative approach to implementation. Especially if you are building from scratch. Gatekeeper is going to grow with you.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to generate quarterly reports has been the key in putting in place a robust contract management program. The ease with which you can access and link contracts is time saving. Gatekeeper also allows me to customize my categories to suit my needs.

What do you dislike about the product?
It does not allow you to bulk export contract files and it can be a little overwhelming to get started with so many features

Gatekeeper is helping us store all our current and legacy contracts in a single place which is accessible by everyone. It also allows contract owners insights into the renewal status of their contracts which ensures we don't end up renewing something we don't want.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the accessibility of one Cloud that holds all of my information regarding all of my vendors within my practice it's stores all of my files and different information that I would scatter around and look for in one place and then is very nice

I didn't thank you for for G Suite I felt like it is a really good cloud-based system and it has helped me sufficiently within my business staying organized and being able to locate things quickly being in the law practice you need to find your files fast a lot of people are depending on it

I definitely I'm solving a disorganization I'll problem the more organization I can have within the practice that much better my business will be being able to help more clients at one time if things are running more smoothly more organized being able to quickly locate my contract information in one place is very helpful

What do you like best about the product?
The first thing I noticed while I was being shown around Gatekeeper was the ease of use, the program is very intuitive. It really is a one stop shop to find out all the necessary information and documents in regards to tracking our Subcontractors.

I've been using Gatekeeper for about 10 weeks and haven't come across any features/items I dislike.

Gatekeeper is saving us time and money, it's extremely intuitive and truly a one stop shop for tracking our Subcontractors.

What do you like best about the product?
Having made the upfront investment of recording the details of our subscriptions in Gatekeeper we now get timely reminders for each contract event and is able to avoid unnecessary (and costly) auto-renewals for services no longer used.

What do you dislike about the product?
While it's overall a very solid package, more work can be done on the UX to further minimise the steps required to log new contracts. A brilliant addition would be to automatically read the uploaded contract and extract key fields to reduce the data entry.

What do you like best about the product?
We really like the customization of the platform, its ease of use, and the ability to see our contracts at a high level so we can take actionable steps.

What do you dislike about the product?
While there are tons of ways for us to add functionality and custom features, there are some UX oddities that seem to make it a bit more difficult to do certain things (adding Custom Fields, Adding Contract types, etc.) We've also run into a handful of bugs and tech issues with Gatekeeper, especially when it comes to bulk imports and exports. This could be due to the fact that we have 5,000+ contracts, but it's still frustrating.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have over 10,000+ contracts with vendors, clients, and talent partners scattered across email inboxes, file servers, & Dropbox accounts, and we don't have a great sense of a) who those contracts are with, b) when they expire or require cancellation, c) what our financial obligations are, or d) what our legal obligations are. Gatekeeper helps us get a handle on these items.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gatekeeper LISTENS to the customer. In the last few months they have rolled out several features that were essential for our company to progress and I have been extremely satisfied with both the programs features as well as their customer service.

What do you like best about the product?
Our company was looking for a solution for contract management and we have been using Gatekeeper to assist in this for the past year. We like how we are able to chat with Gatekeeper and they are responsive.

What do you dislike about the product?
Gatekeeper does have limited functionality. For example, we use the event feature but the fact that an email is sent out at event creation and also when the event is due is causing confusion to our end users.

I think it is a good tool for those who are looking for a standard contract management system.
