What do you like best about the product?

Pricing is fair for the features you get when using StotyChief. For new startups with limited funds, it could be a slight hurdle.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using StoryChief for 5+ years, and as an agency with clients who focus on and benefit from content marketing, it has been an invaluable tool for us all. We especially like the built-in SEO guidance, readability analysis, and the fact that we can trickle-publish and syndicate our content to multiple channels over several weeks. Because Storychief is SEO savvy, the articles being syndicated to other websites all include a Google "canonical"tag, meaning the SEO ranking credit from all that traffic only goes to the original publishing website. Due to this form of backlinks buildup, we have seen articles quickly rank in the SERP (Search Engine Results Pages). We also like the ability to schedule social media campaigns as well. And the number of platforms that StoryChief supports and integrates with is huge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike at all. The team has been very responsive when adding additional integrations. The one on our wishlist that we really hope for in the future is to enhance the current SEO sidebar with SEO content grading features. Also, I wished the existing content brief for each story would include SEO keyword research and content grading recommendations.

What do you like best about the product?
I value Story Chief because it allows teams to write great content thanks to its built-in SEO and readability scores. Content distribution is made simple with just one click; you can write posts for each of your articles and publish them to the channels of your choice or schedule them. Use the easy-to-use content management workflow to get your team on the same page with your campaigns. You can use images, videos, and rich media to make your stories stand out.
What do you dislike about the product?
To enable better marketing attribution goals, custom fields should be further developed. I'm hoping StoryChief has the ability of a Chrome extension or Firefox plugin to generate posts quickly. There are no options to schedule posts automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If your previous campaigns received more views, clicks, and shares than usual, you can copy them from the StoryChief Social Posts tab and restart them. You can organize the many projects you're working on with your team and create corresponding campaigns for each one. You can manage content marketing campaigns for clients. To see your content schedule graphically, you can also check the future articles and posts in the calendar view.

What do you like best about the product?
If you're going to use it as it's designed (write blog content directly in the interface and then publish it on multiple channels), I think it would work really well for a fairly small team. You can format everything just like you would want to for a blog, and you also get a lot of feedback about SEO as you're writing. It appears to have a lot of ways to turn one article into a "content waterfall" on a lot of channels, which could be really valuable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm using StoryChief with a really big team where we are going through many rounds of editing with multiple editors. Not being able to put "suggestions" but only comments makes it much slower to go back through and clean up versions. You also can't have more than one person editing a doc at one time. And with multiple rounds of edits, it's basically impossible to know "who's got the football" for us, so we had to implement a project management solution to keep track of that. So for us it's not ideal. But for a less complicated team, it would probably be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can group different types of content from different people in one "campaign" to keep track of things. This makes it easier to find items. The SEO tools are useful when we use them. Sometimes we just put a Google Doc link in a "story" and write over there instead, though.

What do you like best about the product?
Most valued features are: - One-click distribution on all social channel. - Seamless collaboration between all content stakeholders (and agencies). - Great editor with immediate SEO scoring. - Asset emails to press agencies.
What do you dislike about the product?
The custom fields could be more elaborated to support better marketing attribution purposes. The way utm query parameters can be set is great...but I would love to see the option to also use custom variables.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When conducting content marketing, several people have to seamlessly work together. Content writers will write content. Channel managers will be responsible for distribution. SEO marketers want to see traffic. etc.... SoryChief is THE go-to-tool to do all that within the same platform.
