What do you like best about the product?
GetResponse offers all email marketing and automation features alongside social media marketing and some additional features that you won’t find anywhere else, like its webinar feature and so on. Not only can you host webinars, you can also build websites even faster than before with its AI technology and designing tools. Be it funnels, landing pages, building forms, marketing emails; there is nothing you cannot achieve at this platform. It allows you to test and try new ideas and make plans according to your policies. This is the name of innovation and success and who wouldn’t like something as good as this one!

What do you dislike about the product?
The platform requires your attention to master it – just like any other application does. At times, to understand it better or to eradicate an issue you need a dedicated support – which they offer – but it is only available for users of Max plan, it is quite disturbing at times.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is nothing you can’t do with this platform, you can create websites, hold webinars, send out mass emails and schedule social media posts all under one roof. GetResponse is one of those platforms that gives you everything under one roof. Lastly, all the stats and reports are there for you to make better judgment and future planning for even better results.

What do you like best about the product?
In my organization we are happy to have opted for GetResponse to carry out marketing tasks, there are many things we can do with this tool, among the most important are being able to manage funnels, automate email marketing campaigns, get detailed and quantified reports of the processes you are working on and much more. It is intuitive in many ways, offers very original templates and both the visual campaign builder and the updated email builder are excellent.

What do you dislike about the product?
One of the least advantageous things for us is the limitation to customize reports, as well as the user control. Lastly, its price, it is somewhat expensive to maintain.

It is a tool that we use daily for our marketing tasks, it has good attributes, functionalities and features that simplify and streamline our work. The interface is intuitive and it is easy to interact with the tool in each of its modules. Finally, the statistics we get are very useful for study and decision making for the next campaigns.

What do you like best about the product?
The quick response time to our queries. Having live chat is something which has been invaluable and all of our queries are answered quickly and efficiently with videos/images provided when needed to make instructions simple to follow.

Nothing. We had issues in the part with losing emails as there was not an auto-save feature but we fed this back and it was brought in meaning we've not lost any drafts since!

Having a platform to quickly and easily access all of our customers via. There are a lot more tools that GetResponse offer that we would love to utilise so we need to put some time aside to make the most of the additional features and build customer bases/workflows etc better.

With its wide variety of customizable templates, we can give each client a unique look and feel. The tool's ease of use means we can focus on providing excellent service rather than wasting time worrying about technical details. It's excellent and hasn't given us any problems so far.

Get Response has literally the most amazing customer support I have ever seen. I was a newbie to email automation and the crew have taught me to create automations and email sequences like a pro - something that i could never have envisaged being able to do. It is very intuitve and user friendly A++

The only improvement would be to have the ability to open up different functions without having to re-sign in on another browser tab sometimes. But that is a very minor issue!

Get Response was the easiest to get started for a newbie. I have tried many, many other products. GetResponse is for a new beginner to a very well-educated individual in Email Marketing. If you have questions, they are there for you. They have uploaded many step-by-step videos for you to watch to make this a very satisfying experience. If you come to a roadblock, email the GetResponse team, who will help you figure everything out.

I use GetResponse for basic email campaigns and find the tool easy to use. I was able to jump in and send my first email with limited time spent figuring out how it worked. I'm excited to explore other features going forward.

Nothing yet. Again, we use it for very basic email campaigns. If I had to come up with something though, I'd say more template options. If I do branch out, there are not many to choose from.

Their cancellation terms are weird and not the usual for SAAS. We cancelled our service on 26 May and they wanted us to pay for the month of June, although we didnt send even a single email in June 2022. They are using a fine print clause in T&C saying the cancellation notice period is 1 month. Now they are sending emails threatening court action. Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. On top of it, it is not the most affordable service. So in summary it is not recommended and one has to be very careful in signing up for any of their plans

I really like the customizable dashboard and menu widgets. I appreciate the focused, sequential approach to marketing and selling digital products like if I'm designing email Auto responders that's all I have to look and think about. I don't usually succumb to shiny object syndrome and bounce around the software that often.

I really wish there were more project completion reminders and progress bars built into the dashboard so I could know if my funnel is missing pages or my contacts haven't been followed up with in so many days. I love that I can establish a brand template quickly and easily and use 'snippets' of that template or the whole thing in new emails I create. What tops that is easy access to re-use successful emails I've already sent in the past.

This isn't really GetResponse's failing but mine. I just wish more people would click (my open rates are not bad) but then my list probably needs a good refresh. Perhaps GetResponse already has an easy way of cleaning your list (I don't mean bounced emails which it does) I mean those that are disengateed. Wait you can by just creating a segment list! Simple.

What do you like best about the product?
Get Response does some things well: - Easy landing page design - Easy email design The design is really easy but some functionalities are hidden and you have to contact support to let you know where they are.

What do you dislike about the product?
-Contacts import from your previous email management tool is really challenging, almost impossible. If you have more than 50 contacts in your database it will take you ages to import. If one of your contact is blocked at GetResponse backend level (for example a different company sent an email and the person decided to unsubscribe that person will be blocked at the system level). I have a secondary list that I exported from mailchimp. All valid emails. GetResponse is blocking my import because some people in my list are blocked by them. So the right things to do is to tell you which emails are bad. But no Get Response will not share with you this information. So I have to upload one by one my contact. I have 300 contacts so I will do it manually. Get response has a limit of 50 daily contacts even on the paid plans. So it will take me 6 days to upload my list. Get Response does not provide me with any flexibility AT ALL.

Right now Get Response is causing more headaches than solving any solutions. Normally you use a marketing automation tool to simplify your life. With Get Response it is the opposite, at least for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I've been a Get Response customer for over a year, possibly longer, and I originally enjoyed its features. When they announced a new website builder, this piqued my interest more due to my plans to create two websites. If I had to give positives, they have a lot of useful resources, although accessing them can be frustrating as they sign you out whenever you go into the Resources library. That said, you can add Get Response lead magnets to your funnels when you start out.

What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, this is where I first encountered the limitations for affiliate marketers on Get Response. There's no integration with Google Adsense or any option to host ads, which meant this would severely limit my options. Without the ability to monetise, it wouldn't make sense to invest the amount of time necessary to build a website. I then encountered problems with Get Response's email marketing setup. Creating a basic email sequence became increasingly difficult, and the automation options for their budget package were almost unusable. Sadly, these two realities were ad odds with my requirements. Setting up a WordPress site and then upgrading to the next tier (priced at approx $50 now) would take me to around $80 per month. I needed to look at my options, so I paused my account and was informed a reminder would be sent as the renewal cycle was about to kick in. That didn't happen, and Get Response automatically restarted my account. I wasn't happy with the customer service response given about this, but that's a different story. Ultimately, the limitations led to my pausing my account in the first place. Until Get Response caters to affiliate marketers who need to monetise their website, I won't consider using them again. Unless you're willing to pay a minimum of $50 per month for 1000 subs per month, I don't recommend this platform.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider your budget wisely. While Get Response has a budget tier, the limitations to their email automation make it almost impossible to create a useful email sequence. You'll have to go with the $50 package to do this; otherwise, you'll have severely stripped-back automation options. There are more affordable options available for email marketers. Furthermore, you won't be able to monetise the websites on Get Response, so keep that in mind. Anyone who runs a niche or authoritative website will be limited to affiliate links, with no option to run ads.

There are lots of templates, and ideas. The new E-mail creator with blocks is super simple to implement. Everything works pretty quickly as well. Things don't take too long to load as you go along.

It is a straightforward tool, and there is not much that you need to learn; everything is self-explanatory. I like that I can make lists of people I want to reach and then later also see the data about who I reached. That gives me an option to plan my action further.

The software was very user-friendly, and I was able to set up my email chain fairly quickly. I like how you could use special codes to automatically select the person's first name.

Setting up an Email campaign, adding a subscriber list, vast no of Email - templates, Email Automation etc. these are the things which I love most from the GR. However, the one thing that stands out is creating a Marketing funnel and we can create a Landing Page based on our campaign and needs. All these things don't need a tech or coding guy. Almost without fail I can rely on GR's tech support team to answer my questions speedily and with obvious expertise. This means so much to me that I've written about the importance of tech support in deciding on an email provider in my book for solopreneurs, "Life Force Marketing." I've tried several other companies and, among the reasons I left them to seek greener pastures was their shakey, slow, unknowledgable, or unfriendly tech support options. Instant CHAT is where it's at if you are a one-person show and every minute counts.

GR takes a while to learn. The organization of the site, which makes sense to me now, was not initially intuitive. I have started providing tutorials to my clients (I recommend GR to all my new website owners) to get them through the first days of getting their email lists, landing pages and autoresponders up and running. Also, although I appreciate the landing page maker, I am also still hoping for some improvement in the landing page construction functions, which I find stodgy and finicky.

What do you like best about the product?
It has a wide array of features - from basic emailing to automation to landing pages to webinars etc. In that sense it is very developed.

What do you dislike about the product?
It feels to me like really overpriced and they keep taking away features from lower plans. I wasn on Basic and HAD automation at the start, but then they removed it from being available on basic - only on some too advanced and expensive plans. I have a mere <1000 subs and I totally can't agree to that high price just to be able to sort of 'send message if the other message was open'. This is too basic to have it available to everyone. I'm only staying there because I have huge bunch of autoresponders set up which I'd hate to re-creare in another service, but I will leave it anyway. Just too costly for my little base.

Getresponse is not only a simple email marketing tool like most others, but it has grown to an email marketing cum sales funnel solution to its users. In addition, they have recently introduced the Forever free plan, and you can enjoy all the premium features for the first 30 days. After that, to get the premium features, you have to upgrade to at least a higher (paid) plan. In the free plan itself, the email autoresponder facility, one landing page, and the basic requirements are available. So, a beginner can start his or her email marketing journey with the free plan itself.

What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I don't like is, Getresponse don't provide email automation customization even in the Basic paid plan; for availing of this, user need to opt for the Plus plan.

Price point for the basic plan was great. Easy to use format and straightforward, so it seemed.

When completing a landing page according to their template, using their guidelines and fonts, it had continual issues with buttons and images overlapping each other. Our business invested $75 to run a Facebook Ad on what we thought would be a properly vetted Beta tester version. It is not ready. There was no ability to download our free offer, due to buttons overlapping. During live chats, we were told, we should clarify to clients to "Open using Google Chrome" (You should never preface an ad with that sort of statement) "Use our recommended fonts" (did that) among other minor adjustments, all which were followed. After several attempts, no refund was allowed for the botched ad and only a 10% discount on further subscription plans was provided. They stated that the Facebook Beta was a work in progress and all our issues would be used to greatly move the company forward in strides to provide the best version possible for future Facebook ad updates. (I'M SO GLAD MY $75 HELPED THAT PROGRESS) Not impressed with their response or this company.
